Comment:

I took this course online and it consisted of about 4 papers which make up the bulk of your grade including a research paper at the end worth the most. As long as you follow instruction and do the assignments leading up to the papers, you will pass easily. She also has few quizzes but there are a good amount of assignments. This was a great class!

She is the WORST professor ever!!!!! Do not take her! Ignore all the nice comments here. They are lying to you! She doesnt care about you or your learning. She seems to get a joy of failing students and Ive been a A student all my life. If you take her, good luck.

She is a nice professor but she is a tough grader on essays and if you are taking her online and are busy don't take her she assigns 2-3 assignments every week. I also turned in an essay but didn't see the topics that we had to choose from and she gave me a 0 and was very passive-aggressive and not just with that but also other comments she gives.

Shes overall easy she is a tough grader though. Do NOT miss an assignment for whatever reason I never did, but heard it drops grade. Easy assignments just be on top of it shes a sweet lady and very detailed instructions you should pass with a good score. I have the final left but have a 93% so far

this lady will drop your grade SEVERAL POINTS if you miss just ONE assignment!! She is really passive-aggressive when replying to emails and her feedback on essays is unhelpful and very criticizing. Granted the work is not a lot, by any means, and if you stay on top of everything you will get an A in the class. DO NOT MISS THE PEER REVIEWS!!!

She is a caring teacher but you get a zero for work not turned in on time. My internet went down so I was unable to turn in an assignment. I had already used my pass on an assignment "redo" so i couldn't use my one free pass again. That left me with a 0/100 for missing an assignment by 4 hours because of the internet and her one strike policy. Boo

Professor Jennings was one of the best professors I had. She was sweet, considerate, and had lots of patience for all my questions. Not only was she clear on grading and what to expect, she gave great feedback on how to improve! If you need an English teacher be sure to pick her as she wont disappoint!

Rather harsh grader. Grading rubric and pier review isn't going to help you too much. There is extra credit but I never figured out how to get to it as it wasn't in the modules and the tab on the home page didn't work for me. Gives good feed back most of the time and answers emails within a day. Text book would have come in handy a few times.

Professor Jennings is great at teaching college level writing. Criteria are clear. Her class is well structured with a mix of quizzes and papers and a variety of paper types. There are presentations to prepare for assignments. There is something for everyone in her paper topic options. Grading is lenient but gets stricter as the class goes on.

As with any English class there was some writing but not nearly as bad as most people would think. She's a pretty fair grader but make sure your MLA formatting is on point! No extra credit, but if you do the work and you put some effort into it, you'll be fine.

If your working and taking classes I wouldn't suggest this professor. I tried keeping up with her work but kept falling behind because of how many assignments she assigned weekly. It ranged from 2-3 the first couple weeks and then it was every week there was a quiz, an essay assignment, reading, and responses to do.

She is an excellent professor! She accepts paper re-submissions and she is more than willing to answer any questions thrown her way. All of the tests are extremely simple, including the final exam! However, she does have a group assignment which is nearly impossible to complete online, so expect to lose at least 30 points for that. Guaranteed B.

Online course. EASY for college. Graded Essays hard (no higher than always around a 78 no matter how much effort and time spent). Good online instructer to take. Used book once, maybe twice. Final was an Essay (easy). Warning...Just try not to take too much offense with her comments on Essays...I did.

Even though I took an online class it was very involved. I was on the course page at least 3-4 times a week for the first half of the semester. The book use was low, but you'll definitely need it. Lots of small discussions, 3 essays, 1 group project, and a research paper. Due dates are super important. Easy class.
