I took his online class it was very easy. He's a great professor and gives lots of opportunities for extra credit. There is one big assignment which is a powerpoint and it is very easy. Make sure you do discussion post they are an easy attendance grade.

Comment:

Humanities through the Arts; easy A. Don't buy physical book, waste of your money. He records his classes and gives you the website. Online book only used for quizzes ; tests are on your own laptop in class. PowerPoint presentation; not hard at all.

Comment:

I wasn't a big fan of his class but he teaches well and helped me pass. He has so much love for the arts, and I feel like sometimes he forgets he's teaching students. He always weirded me out. But he explains his exams well and replies fast to emails. If you listen to him and take a few notes, you should pass without trouble. Easy B, if A better.

Dr. Husarik is a passionate professor who makes the class fun. He teaches word for word with his course backup, so if you happen to miss a day, you can check that for material. Exams and papers are easy, if you put in effort and study. Lots of opportunities for extra credit too, so don't hesitate to volunteer. I looked forward to his class everyday

I loved this professor. He is so passionate about what he teaches. He is my favorite professor I've ever had and I have been in school a long time. You have to get use to his sense of humor at first, he's a little eccentric. But once you adjust settle in for a fantastic class taught by a passionate professor.

Dr. Husarik is my teacher while mine is gone for the next 3 weeks. I've been in his classroom for one week, and he's VERY rude. He wrote the book, so of course he'll tell you that you'll need it (however my actual professor told us that we wouldn't) but you actually don't need it. He gives you everything you need.

This is a relatively simple class if you put forth effort. He gives opportunities for extra points. He cant hear very well, so speak up when you give your final presentation or he will take points off. Showing up to class will give you extra points at the end of the semester.

Great professor!!! Highly recommend, very informative. The class is very straightforward, it is an easy A if you put forth a little effort.

He is very lecture heavy, but I thought he was an alright teacher. Out of the 3 tests, the first 2 have essays with them and to make up for not having an essay on the 3rd one, he adds 25 questions to it. Also be aware that this class definitely requires work to put in. And, his grading scale is that a 92+ is an A, 82-91 is a B, and so forth.

AWFUL. Husarik is the rudest professor I have ever had. He is very unclear with what he expects, assigns a lot of busy work. He is a very offensive teacher. He thinks he is something special and baffles on and on about how smart he is, needless to say. I would not recommend. It isn't that hard of a class but he is unbearable.

Before I started the class, I looked on this website to see how he would be. After the comments, I was really nervous. There were a bunch of hateful things said about him. I followed through with the class, and he ended up being one of my favorite professors. If you do your work, you will have no problem. He is helpful if you take time to ask.

He likes to lecture..... a lot. There are only 3 tests, but for two of them there is an essay. The assignments are easy and he does give you majority of the answers to the online test. Study the reviews and you should be fine on the test. a 92 is an A in this class, but 91-82 is a B.

Dr. Husarik is probably the most egotistical professor I have ever had. He only cares about himself and could care less about his students personal opinions/views. I received B's or A's on every test and paper we did, and got a 95% on my final capstone project. We had 2 homework assignments online that I got a D on, and I received a C in the class

He is a horrible teacher. very rude to everyone. he gives a project called a "capstone" and he is rude when you present, and rude if you do a website. he is not clear on any of the projects in the class and just an all around bad teacher. although it is an easy A

He is all over the place which makes for an interesting class but doesn't help much with Tests. Gives out decent reviews but only helps some with the test. Grade on Blackboard doesn't reflect true grade. If you have a question better ask someone else in the class if you don't want to feel stupid. Very condescending when responding to questions.
