really nice guy and tries to get to know class well. uses the word sexy at weird times and to describe rock formations and such. the tests are hard and kinda random, but anything he has you write is pretty easy

Insanely hard for a one credit course. Either a really hard quiz or a paper due ever class. Which are then graded ridicuosly hard. All I needed was one credit to graduate. If there is not a huge curve at the end of the semester (which there may well be because everyone does horrible) I will not graduate and have to take a summer class. DO NOT TAKE!

All lectures are on PowerPoint and downloadble. There's just way too much stuff to remember. He claims not to trick you on exams but he does so unintentionally because he's so much smarter than everyone else. Genuinely a nice guy though a bit hard to catch if you have questions.

Interested in topic before I took the class. Zeitler is a very nice and intelligent guy but does not engage students at all. There is no classroom discussion and recitation is irrelevant to the course. Tests are much harder than need be for such a low level ees class. Final is weighted 35%!

Good class for easy science requirement. No attendance required, but I recommend that you attend anyway. Exams are all from lectures, don't really need to buy the book. Multiple choice exams and a final. Recitations are extremely boring, however.

strange... he puts up his entire lectures online as powerpoints and then just reads directly off of them in class... so u never need to go to class, its amazing, but the material is really boring, and he doesnt make it any more interesting
