Professor Flanary is the best professor I've had so far! He loves what he does and he genuinely enjoys teaching class every day. He also makes a point to learn everybody's names, which I loved. Go to class every day and read the material and you'll do great!

I took Intro to Business with Dr F and he is awesome. You use a monthly subscription as your textbook and your tests come directly from this. As long as you attend class and pay attention this should be an easy A for anyone.

Ok, this class is truly one of the easiest business core courses I have taken so far. Mr. Flanary makes it fun, clear, and practical. He uses Business Week magazine as a textbook, and the exams are all about the articles assigned to read plus some basics from Economics, Accounting, and Finance. EASY A!

Flanary is the best professor at ECU. His business class is enjoyable (& I am not the type to enjoy school!!) He's a fun guy but knows how to keeps things on pace. Pay attention in discussions/study previous tests and you'll be good. No textbook just articles. Doesn't care for feelings so be prepared for his jokes! I will definitely take him again

Professor Flanary is simply awesome. Extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about business and open to all questions. Strict attendance policy but if Business interests you then you will have no problem. Dont wear pajamas, he will fail you. NO TEXTBOOK just BusinessWeek Mag. Easy Quizzes and Tests. Got a 98 in his BUSI 1200 class. I think he's a great teacher. He made the material seem interesting because he is very enthusiastic. Participation and attendance are a huge part of your overall grade (30%). Show up to class and study a little for the tests and youre in the clear.

Prof. Flanary is a great professor. The class was a pilot course with only about 15 kids, and he made sure everyone knew the subject. He integrates Business Week into his class very effectively. The tests are comprehensive, but are easy if you study the older tests.

BUSI 1200 is a pilot course for the College of Business and Flanary taught it excellently (w/ BusinessWeek). His experience at Celanese in China was very relevant and his business sense from his time in the private sector is intact. He is relatively conservative, but his joviality more than undermines whatever animosities he may hold.

He is a fair teacher that attempts to show how what he is teaching will be useful in real world scenarios. He gives a good review for his test. His style is very laid back and helpful. He makes a potentially tougher subject easier to understand. I highly recommend him.

He is a pretty easy guy. The tests are a bit difficult, and the final is really hard. I barely pulled an A in his class. I would definately recommend him since he lets you use a page front and back of notes for all his tests, except for the final in which you can only use a notecard front and back.

This guy is really nice and on point. I really like his organization, makes it easy to follow for the year. Cheat sheets for every test, teaches you how to apply the information to your life. If you keep up, which is not too hard, very easy A. Favorite class this semester! he says "Just for funzies"

Pretty nice guy. EASY class. Not only teaches material, but also teaches how to live by it with your own money someday. Almost all problems are done completely by calculator. Cheat sheet for all tests. Perfect attendance-10 points on lowest test grade. Miss one class-5 points on lowest test grade. Easiest prof for finance.

take this man.. he is really easy...asks the same questions over and over.. got to be dumb not to pass his tests he helps you on the quizes... his tests are 20 to 25 multiple choice.. lets you use a front and back cheat sheet.. and gives u 10 extra bonus points on ur lowest test grade if u come to class everyday take him ezzzzzzzz
