He is a funny and engaging lecturer. Never dull and very accessible. You will learn a lot from him. However, he is a tough grader. He is quite helpful in office hours but if u want an A u will have to work very hard.

Bossert is by no means an easy professor, but he will absolutely make you a better writer. He knows what he's talking about, and is extremely helpful and accessible in office hours. He's a bit sarcastic, which not all students really get, but he means well. He is kind and helpful, and it is well worth it to take his class.

He is very funny and lively but when it comes to grading he has no HEART! He will fail your paper in a heartbeat...but will help you on how to improve! You have to a very sophisticated writer to impress this man. The class was hard but he is a nice guy...to bad he's not when he grades!

He's incredibly knowledgable and tries to keep class interesting and entertaining. He's relentless with grading, but he can always tell you how to improve and what you were missing and how it fits in with the assignment's guidelines. Also, his tests are very much geared toward class discussions, so take good notes!

He enjoys teaching english and that is obvious but he grades very hard - probably bc it was an honors class. Every week is a new essay to write, and its hard to perfect the essays thus making it impossible to get an A. Only like 3 out of 25 kids got an A

Dr. Bossert is incredibly enthusiastic and is great at relating text for understanding. His grading is really hard and he expects a lot from 300 level papers. However, he is willing to give lots of help and he definitely seems to enjoy teaching. Midterms are very related to class discussions.

Prof Bossert must have an IV pumping caffeine directly into his bloodstream during class, he is indecently pumped up to talk about medieval lit. Once a week he'll say something super dorky about online gaming or ewoks and half the people in the class will totally miss it while the other half has to restrain themselves from giving him a highfive.

Though he is helpful, he grades extremely hard and it is near impossible to get an A in this class. Class is fun, but the papers you have to write are not. There are 6 of them and there is one due every week. (Rough then final) There are journals due every week along with the papers. Go to office hours.

Bossert is a great professor, he's very passionate about what he teaches and very very helpful both in class and during office hours. He constantly made appointments with students outside his scheduled office hours to help students. That said, it is a challenging class and he's a tough grader.
