Since it seems like he's gone for the semester, I'll review him now. I question some of his motives, like making you pay $100 for his textbook just cause he gets a cut of the pay, the lack of actual science talk in his class and that you can't get up during class. At all. But he's still a nice guy and I enjoyed talking to him. I'll miss him.

He wants you to be informed and interested in the world around you. I can respect that. But he also wants to force you to buy the textbook HE wrote for $60 and then read it out loud to you slowly for the entire semester. Nice old man but this class was painful.

this is one of the worst instructors i have ever met at any level in my career. his syllabus is dated 2002 and gives little to no info on what is expected for a good grade. he grades essays as if you know science already and rambles about the text, which he wrote, and thinks is god's work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

He was definitely hard and strict but he's incredibly smart and he tries to instill the importance of academics in people's lives. He encourages everyone to make the most of their life! I was inspired by him.

What a loser! He talks too much and he grades unfairly. He tests you on crap he DID NOT TEACH. You have to google everything. Do not take him unless you like wasting money, being extremely bored in class, and getting low grades on everything.

The man is a loser. His midterm is on crap he NEVER taught us. First half of class is talking about science articles, second half is him reading from the book to us, VERBATIM. Talks too much about his life and is close minded. You teach yourself through google in that class.

The class is pretty boring, he reads word for word from a book and will give the same stories about his life weekly. And will lecture you about sitting in the front row. Its just a really boring class. One project (a group one due at end of semester) 2 tests. Its easy if you can stay awake for 14 weeks.
