The rubrics given for the PLB papers are very specific and Richard is always willing to answer questions. 2 biggest pieces of advise for anyone taking PLB: 1) Start on papers early and turn in drafts for feedback. 2) Do not be intimidated by Richard. He can be tough but he is very smart and cares about his students actually learning the info.

I learned a lot in Behavioral Stats, and remembered it all too. Dr Wielkiewicz really prepares you for Research methods. Even though he is a tough grader and its a hard class, I didn't totally mind it. However will be one of the harder psych classes I take for my degree.

Great dude. Super scary at first but is a lot nicer than he seems. Tough class, tough grader, lots of homework but its worth it. He will go out of his way for you in class and outside of class. The kids that don't like him are the kids that don't want to work hard. If you work hard in his class, you'll get a good grade.

Richard is one of the best professors I've had to date. His class is a ton of work but you learn a lot. Although it doesn't seem like it in the beginning, Richard truly cares about his students and wants to help you. He is very intimidating but softens up when he gets to know you. Work hard and build a relationship with him, you won't regret it.

I am an alumni from 2011 and I can tell you I retained and apply more concepts from Richard's Principles of Learning and Behavior class than my other classes combined! He if a fantastic professor if you can put your ego aside and focus on learning. It's not an easy course but IT'S WORTH IT!! Good luck :)

GREAT professor! Will teach you a ton and in a way that you will retain so long as you put the work in. Keep up with homework! He challenges his students because he can see the potential and is passionate about what he does. He seems intimidating at first but TALK TO YOUR PROFESSORS! It makes the world of difference and you will gain so much more.

Good guy, he is not as scary as people make him out to be. However, he is the most scatter brained individual ever and class was confusing. If you miss class you probably wont pass. Do not take him

This class is interesting to say the least. Richard is smart and has the qualities to be a great professor. But, his outrageous grading scales made the class awful. I got points off for using the word differs instead of varies. Will help you outside of class if you're brave. Dont ask questions in class unless youre un-afraid of embarrassment.

Wielkiewicz is a very very tough grader and expects a lot of his students. That being said, he tells you exactly what he expects of you for each assignment, which is helpful.

Wielkiewicz is very smart and passionate about statistics. He teaches the class really well and even though it is hard material, if you work at it, you'll be fine. Do not come late to class, though. He is not afraid to call you out in front of the class. Likewise, he often gets so worked up about things that he'll vent/yell about it to the class.

Wielkiewicz is an extremely knowledgable individual. Yes, he does get defensive when it comes to the environment, but he as evidence to support his claims. His concern for our generation and the generations to come is evident. He wants to help you, especially when it comes to helping the environment. Don't shy away from him! He is a great person.

Great Prof! His test questions are straight from the book and lecture notes. He also offers test corrections or group test which rly helps your grade! Most people complian about his attitude, but if you can get past that, you'll survive his class. Just don't be late because he will call you out.

The craziest and most eco green crazed person ever. If you have a death wish walk into the class and tell him about how electric and hybrid cars are stupid.

I learned more things about going green and how to not get mono. Also, never, ever enter his class late. Even if it is 15 seconds after he closes the door. He goes irate. Too bad there is no other teacher to take this class from. You're screwed.

350 characters is not enough to describe the nightmare that me and my classmates went through. He only wants to read his thoughts on your paper. He trys to implant his views into your brain. It felt like I was in a bad psychology experiment.

He is a stark liberal that tries to promote anything from electric cars to green energy. Tries to act like he knows everything about green energy. Just pretend like you agree with him and everything should turn out alright. Good Luck.

Richard is not scary at all! Bad comments are from whinny freshmen. He is a smart guy and knows his subject forward and backwards. He gives tests, lets you make up points, gives assignments and hw and grades and that really helps if you want to improve your grade. He is funny but some don't get his humor. He is very clear in his lesson a helpful.

He will bury you. He said that people weren't revising papers enough-so he graded harder. Office hours visit-said he wanted to make it quick, and to hurry up. Will try to push his liberal-ness off on you, and if you write something he disagrees with, you can guarentee your on the bottom of the curve forever. DO NOT TAKE, I still shake when I type.

Comment:
Don't take Richard, he is a biased teacher that enjoys threatening and making students feel stupid. He grading system is ridiculous, and it's virtually impossible to do well in the class even if you do exceptionally well on the test. The final took 3 hours and counts for 1/3 of your grade and is complete crap. Again, don't take him!!
