Comment:

He did pile info endlessly w/o any interest in his audience. Couldn't recommend extra sources for struggling/skeptical students. Simply asserted his statements as THE WORD and was hostile to alternatives, even from famous historians. An ideologue taken w/visions of weird cultic socialism. Didn't know/care about professional lit, just his opinions.

He will wear your arm out with note taking but you will learn a ton! He ruined my 4.0 by giving me my only "B". I would still take him again. He is tough but also facinating.

I did not like him one bit. His tests were long essays You had no idea what was going to be on the tests, His lectures dragged on. He also doesn't know how to say Missouri or Washington. Avoid.
