I can't imagine not being able to follow his lectures. He's really well organized and makes his own powerpoints for the classes. He goes a little slower than the best students need, but he's trying to make sure all the strugglers at UNLV follow the material. He really cares about teaching and is geek sexy. Sorry to see him go. One of the most disorganized profs I had at unlv. He is boring, unprepared and has no sense of the field. Makes frequent mistakes and has to scale the results to look better--a disaster. He writes his own comments on the net. Miserable character that needs desparately a woman. A profesional failure overall. No publications just teaching.

Teacher is nice, he looks like Egon from Ghost Busters. But watch out he gives out C-'s. I got a C on the two midterms and a D+ on the comprehensive final and that gave me a C- because the final is worth 50% of your grade! Dont recommend him if you're a bad test taker.

Econometrics 441. Cron is not only an akward person who make you feel uncomfortable, but he's a disgrace to the field of econometrics. I'm not sure how he was given the chance to teach this class, but he knows NOTHING about it! If you want to actually learn something, take someone else. Taking it with him is a waste of time and money.

I took him for Macro, & if I would have known his grading scale I probably would've dropped him. He's a really cool guy, but you take two exams and the final is worth 50%!!!! I have never had a teacher who did that before, so be careful if your not a good test taker!

He was really boring to listen to and has no enthusiasm on the subject at all. Compared to other Econ professors I have had he is the worst. He clicks through his power point slides and then sends you on your way dazed and confused. When the tests come you get screwed because they are worded so weird. Good luck if u have him, other wise get out!

This professor makes the class seem easy but everything he lectures on is so completely different from his tests!! Everything seems fine in the beginning but the class is only based on 3 exams. He doesn't give study guides and he doesn't do reviews. Basically lectures and you hope for the best. Cool guy but not a great class. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR!

Comment:

The class may not be easy, but professor cronovich tries his hardest to teach the concepts clearly. He always offers extra assistance if necessary. The tests are not too bad, but the final was somewhat difficult, at least he does curve the grades. I would recommend his class.
