Comment:

Dr. Day was very friendly. As an instructor she left much to be desired. She was often late to class and taught nothing. The classes ended up being off topic discussions. However, she did give plenty of options for writing topics, which made the assignments easy to do. It was hard to follow her ever-changing schedule. Easy A, but quite frustrating.

Dr. Day is a nice lady but OMG she blabs about nothing! Her class is so boring! I busted my @$$ in her class and barely got a C. She expects her students to write PhD papers and grades very harsh... but does let you revise and turn back in but your grade doesnt move up much if at all.

Dr. Days class is very easy, she lets you re-take essays, but she is very unclear on assignment. She always goes off on tangents and everything that comes out of her mouth is irrelevant to the class. I did not learn one thing in her class, and I still passed with a B.

Dr. Rose Day needs to retire. She tends to get on her soap box about too mnay things that do not apply to taeching English. She is very testy, and tends to yell at people and make them feel stupid. She is quite demanding, and even though I did learn a few things from her, I still think she needs to retire and be done with students so she can relax.

Often on a tangent, sometimes for the entire class, difficult to understand assignments, and frequently wants everyone to break into groups to discuss things which need no discussion. A very nice person, friendly, and she honestly cares, but she is almost incomprehensible, and she was not very effective. Love her as a person, but not a good prof.

Rose is a very nice lady. She goes off on tangents a lot but is a good teacher. She gives you the grade you deserve, but lets you rewrite every essay for a better grade. I recommend her class if you want a laid back environment but not if you want to be lectured every second of the class. She is one of my favorite teachers by far.

Day talks a lot during class about her life, her degree, husband, guitar, and things that are boring to us. Most of the class is bored!! and she has favors certain students over others, especially the ones that she has had previously. Taje another instructor!!

Rose is definately a quirky hippy type, but do not be fooled; she has a doctorate and is very intellegent. She more often than not stays off subject but usually ends up relating it all together. She is excellent at improving essay writing skills by doing constant revisions to papers until you get it right and reffering to the Bedford.

Rose is kind of a weird lady, but that made the class interesting. Her assignments are very reasonable and she is easy to get along with. She does tend to start talking endlessly about nothing and she has a weird system of grading. I feel that my writing skills improved after taking her class, so she gets my recommendation.

Rose is easy and if you do all the work it is an easy A. Students don't like her because they don't do the work and they fail. I got an A on every essay. This class was a breeze. Rose is offbeat, but that made the class fun and interesting!
