This was a simple class. She provides tons of extra credit so there is no reason for anyone not to pass. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! I didn't read ANY of it and ended up with an A+ because of extra credit that was easily earned. She talks A LOT. Only downfall is that she talks way too much and expect to be there until class ends or past.

To go straight to the point... she's an old crazy, cooky, and fun person. Watson provides A LOT of extra credit (enough to fail all exams and still receive an A) and speeches maybe frightening but she's an easy grader. Definantly one of the easiest professors.

Super easy! Too many extra credits until it overflows. Haha! She is so friendly. Makes the class a very fun and stressless learning environment. All the students were so close to each other at the end of the class. Strongly recomended. Don't buy the book. Extra credits worth more than one presentation.

Ms watson is awesome. She doesn't grade hard either. Very understanding and comfortable atmosphere in her class. I've taken Speech classes before, she's probably one of the easiest one i ever had. If i had to take speech, i would take her again. She old, but funny. Loves to communicate with her students. (took her for winter session)

Okay..so Shes completely CRAZY and half of the time talks out of her Ass..BUt shes an EASY "A".Dont buy the BOOK. Dont Need to take Notes.ALOOT of X-tra Credit. Public speaking is THE one class most people dreaded of having to take at PCC, but Professor Watson really provided a comfortable environment with lots of advice and support and made it fun and enjoyable to do speeches. Take her, you won't regret it! 3 speeches, 2 short quizzes, and tons of EC (my final class percent is ~110% ^^).

easy class. i hate public speaking but still got an A. she talks A LOT. doesn't follow syllabus. still you know when is your speech. Enough EC to pull an A. Don't buy the book; go to lib. you'll never use it on class, only for the 2 quizzes.

I got a 102% in the class BECAUSE I did a BUNCHH of extra credit. SHE LOST ALL MY WORK! ALL THE TIME! Keep your work when you get it back. When you don't get it back nag her about it or else she'll lose it and you wont get credit for it. Teaches NOTHING about speech. Take her if you need more units or need just an A

Worst class I've ever taken. Prof. Watson gives a syllabus but nothing is done according to plan. Assignments and quizzes are given 2-3 weeks late, and no one is really sure when assignments are due. Prof. Watson rambles endlessly about issues unpertaining to the curriculum and goes 5-10 minutes over the class period. Will retake with another prof.

Extremely helpful and clear. She has a great sense of humor, and is always up for listening to a joke or two. Her grading is fair , and she's very clear with what she expects in your speeches. Don't buy the book. You don't need it after the first quiz. Just borrow it from someone.

She's an interesting professor with a lot to say. She goes off topic a bit, but hey what professor doesn't? Her speeches are very easy and can be very humorous at times. A little bit rude too, but i thought it was funny=D I recommend her! the only thing i disliked, she video tapes you! but after the first speech its not so bad.

I don't know how she is in Speech 1, but she is horrible in Speech 6! She babbles on a lot about issues in the society and government and doesn't really teach you what's in the book. In fact, she doesn't teach you how to debate at all. Avoid this teacher for Speech 6!

I Love her! She is super Easy! And duh, she talks... It's SPEECH. Someone I'd definately have a cheer time with during cocktail hour. Her talk is conversational, poise, and funny, which might come off to some as boring, but intellectuals who like to ramble on and exchange the beauty of communication take it in.

Watson is very intelligent as well as funny. She does have expectations, so students should put some effort into their speech if they want an A. I highly recommend her class, very entertaining.
