Very self important. Her lectures are okay, but not always clear. Memorize the book and the power points and you will do well. Be ready to sit and listen to her. Do not have an opinion. Allow her to be sarcastic. Let it all roll off your back. She is quite batty but the department tolerates her, so you won't find any protection from her outbursts.

She is one of the best professors that I've had at Lehman. She is really good at what she does and makes sure that everyone understands the material before she moves on. Transcription and the vowel chart are key!!!! Definetly would take a second class with her.

This Prof. is not the greatest, but she is ok. The only part i did not like about her is that she doesn't like anybody talking, even when she is not. She is kind of easy (all you have to know well is the chart of transcription for both midterm & final, and also the vowels chart). She gives 3 quizzes (10% each) and midterm & final (each 35%). Easy A

I couldnt stand her. For some reason I felt like she thought she was better then everyone else. She promised me a B- and gave me a C in the class. I tried many times to contact her and she said she never said that. WHY WOULD I MAKE THAT UP!!
