I'm surprised no one said this, but she's really liberal. I'd take her class again because I'm an overachiever and her class was easy, but I dislike hearing how horrible conservatives are every class. I take notes, so tests were easy, and buying the book isn't necessary.

Great teacher! In addition to having vast book knowledge about ancient history, she also has traveled to many places around the world and is able to relate the significance of the stuff we only see in books. Mrs. Harmon is friendly, helpful, dedicated, and laid back which makes going to her class enjoyable and educational! Highly recommend!

I have taken Mrs. Harmon two times for Euro History to 1700 and From 1700. She is a great teacher. Her study guides are very helpful, and she will always answer any question you have. She sometimes rambles, but it is always related. Book isn't necessary because she gives you all details. Awesome teacher, will take her again!

She's a kind teacher with a decent knowledge of the history. Her major problem is that she clearly is most interested in discussing and teaching about Christianity which leads her to many scatter-brained tangents. She is helpful for you though.

Mrs. Harmon is an excellent teacher. She is very concise and clear about what she expects from her students both on tests and assignments. She will make every effort possible to see that students who apply themselves get the help they need. She is by far the best teacher i've had at PSC.

Ms. Harmon is an excellent teacher. She makes ancient history modern. She teaches like she's telling one epic story. I love going to her class. You will need to study for her tests and be prepared to write; but she always gives study guides. Excellent at email communication.

LOVED this teacher! Knows her stuff and extremely interesting lectures for the most part. Attendance is not mandatory and she is helpful and understanding if you miss a class because of an emergency or sickness. Tests were pretty much what she said to study on.Go to the class right before the test where she will go over everything you need to know.

An excellant teacher.Prior to her class I hated art and music.She made the material interesting and I even ended up liking classical music. If you attend class, pay attention, and study the guide she gives you, tests are a breeze. I scored over 100 on all of them. The paper was not difficult and there isn't any homework. Highly recommend!!

Really knows her stuff. Very interesting teacher and has no problems with questions. Gave us opportunities for up to 30 points of extra credit by reading books and watching movies and writing about them. Very helpful and sweet.

I took Mrs. Harmon this past semester and she is such a sweet teacher. At the beginning of the term she will take attendance), but not so much throughout the term. She hands out test reviews for each chapter and they are almost just like the test. Do the review sheets or her lectures will make no sense. And to the student below? Have some respect.

Four tests throughout the course, plus one research paper. A study sheet is given at the beginning of the unit, which is reviewed the class before the test. The tests are difficult, primarily consiting of memorizing a brief summary of key words from the unit, but no real surprises. Teacher is very nice and approachable.

She's a very nice teacher. However, I've taken two tests from her so far and she will have questions on them that she never even talked about in class. Thankfully, she's an easy grader for short answer questions, but her multiple choice rarely follow her study guide. If you have the book and read though, you will do fine.

Great class, textbook is not used too much. I loved her lectures, but taking notes for her class was difficult, as we tended to stray off topic, but it was usually something interesting. She knows her stuff, for sure. Tests are mad easy, just look over the review sheets for a little, and you're guaranteed an "A". Review sheets are the tests.

Very Sweet Lady! gives review sheets before test, know them and you'll get an A; however, you want to read the book because she doesnt always give answers on review sheet in class. She makes history fun! :)
