Yep I did get an A and it was the only one in the class. But I worked my ass off. I do not think tests with 1 million questions appropriate though. I also do not appreciate professors that grab questions out if thin air~many were not in the text nor lectures. I did very much enjoy the subject matter and it was presented in a clear manner.

I had her for psychopharm and biopsych. Her classes are very difficult. There is a reason for prerequisites so there isn't a reason complain if you don't have them. For these classes, you need them. 475 was extremely difficult. The test questions come from her lectures and the book. So study a lot and you will do somewhat well. She knows her stuff.

She doesn't pass out her "I PASSED MEG WHITE'S CLASS" buttons for nothing! She is the hardest professor I've ever had but also one of the BEST! The class is hard due to the intensity of the material. I appreciate the fact that she treats her students as adults. Her best words of wisdom: "Be a good discriminator of information presented to you."

Ha Ha. I had Dr. White. I think she is a nice, and funny lady, but I do agree that her classes are incredibly difficult. I took her for bio, lab, and psychopharm, but only because by the time i found out for myself how crazily difficult she was I was already in the trenches on bio and lab, and then she was the only one teaching pharm. the next semester. I wouldn't avoid her if she's the ONLY one teaching a class you want or need, but otherwise I would avoid her.

I took Dr. White about 3 years ago and thought she was so sweet and really, really knows her stuff. But the exams were completely unreasonable. I know we're college students - I'm now a grad student - and there was a lot of info to convey, but those suckers were way to long. I spent more time stressing than retaining what I learned.

She is HARD but well worth it. If you pass her class you feel you can pass anything! Because of her class I am able to get through Grad school. You would be doing yourself a diservice to not have taken a class by her. She's a sadist but only those who are willing to be challenged and willing to fail (a few times maybe) should take her.

Okay get out while you still can if you need this class to graduate! She uses the plus/minus system. Her tests are unreal and so long. But really, she is a very sweet lady, but she prides her self in failing students. GET OUT!

SHe SUCKS!!!! A very bitter lady who likes to take it out on her students. I would never take her ever again! and I would never recommend her to anyone!. She is very mean. The final was 170 questions. Everyone failed that class. Regular tests are 140 questions. She really sucks!!!!!!!!!

It's either Dr. White or Deckard teaching this class. So I went with Dr. White. At least her tests contained stuff that was in the book or lectures & not some critical thinking puzzle like in Deckard's. I studied really, really hard (just like in Deckard's class)and I got a good grade (unklike in Deckard's).If u like to play around do not take her!

this teacher sucks big time. if you need to take this class take it in the fall. she will not teach that class in the fall. it is true no one passes her classes. AVOID HER as much as possible. she will drop you if you are missing any prerequsites.

she is nice? Please, that is simply a front. If you talk to her about your grade and the class she will make it seem that your at fault and your the one doing something wrong. I think when 90 percent of the class is failing there is something wrong with her teaching method not our studying method. That 10% passing must only be taking her class.

Great teacher. Classes are hard because the subject matter is so complex, but you will learn more from her than any other teacher. (Are you taking the class for knowledge or a grade?) Most of her exam questions come from text publishers, so get the workbook and use it.

Most difficult class I have ever taken. If you want to do well and get at least a C or D you need to memorize the entire chapters beginning to end. Her lectures are boring and class is more like premed than psych. Seems like she is bitter and wants to punish students. BAD teacher take someone else!
