Assumes you've taken calculus and that you know how to plug in formulas into other formulas and come out with some bizarre number that somehow ends up being the answer. Also, handwriting is very poor. Difficult to read handwriting on white/smart board.

Worst professor I have ever had. If you ask a question, he makes you feel stupid for not knowing it, and then doesn't explain it well. Makes everything harder than it has to be. If you have to take physics, take it at a community college so you don't have to waste your time teaching yourself physics.

Everyone says they don't like him but thats just because he is extremely hard. Always in his office and he loves when you go in and ask questions, even if you think he hates you or your question is stupid he doesn't care. If you really care about your grade, don't get him for lab, other wise go for it. He makes you a lot better writer.

He is more than willing to help with anything, but you can't be afraid to ask! He welcomes students to come to office hours and taking advantage of this will help greatly. His tests are a bit hard and the questions are not set up like what's done in class, but they're still doable.

Dr. Beecher is a nice old man who wants his students to do very well. He makes things harder then they need to at times, however he is very welcoming to questions. Make sure you attend the workshop that is mandatory for the class. Questions from workshop are VERY similar to test questions.

Re-write your notes after class!! Beecher does go "fast" but that's the nature of the course..the time you invest will reflect your grade..do the homeworks and decent on weekly quizzes and getting a B or higher is no problem (even if you bomb a test or two!)

Beecher is a good guy. A little old school and ornorary but he knows his stuff. You have no choice at Naz if you have to take physics you will have beecher. The material isn't that hard especially if you took it in HS. JUST READ THE BOOK AND DO THE HMWK AND YOU'LL BE FINE

He is insanely smart - and that makes it hard for him to explain things in simple terms. He goes insanely fast during lecture and assumes that you understand everything. He is easy to get ahold of for extra help, but sometimes you leave with more questions than when you started.
