Professor O'Rourke is a good professor. This was the only class that I actually used and read the textbook. The textbook is mandatory and needed in order to pass this course. There are a lot of assignments as well as diaries in which you write about the chapter covered in class. Also, he never cancels class so attend as many classes as possible

Willing to answer questions during class. Never got frustrated when students didnt understand material. Goes slowly and does not go on until everyone understands. Opens class with a chance for us to ask questions. However, harsh grader. unclear grading criteria for homework. I was ONCE 3 minutes late and had 15 points taken off my homework.

Great professor...you will learn a lot in his class for sure...his tests are hard though and you have to study a lot for them...you really need to manage your time wisely to keep up with this class from submitting diaries to reading the chapters, etc. It was way too much work

Very engaging. Pretty tough, but very fair. I was only moderately interested in the subject going in but his teaching fired up an interest in taking more Psych classes as electives.
