Comment:
Imber talks all through class about his life and things that don't pertain to class, He is not understanding at all towards his students. He is extremely rude, and no one does well on his exams because you're too busy listening to him talk about himself, and don't learn any actual content.

Comment:
Much of class time was wasted on him talking about court cases and his work as a consultant as opposed to actually covering the material we need to know. Two major projects in this class (that you work in groups on) and one exam. The syllabus says there will be two exams but the class voted to not have the final. Don't take this class with him.

he was more focused on telling us terrible jokes and talking to us about his work as a consultant than teaching us. we would spend probably half the class talking about his own experiences. tests were based on things he never went over, group projects on things we never learned, class was a total waste of time. take with different professor.

He is very clear in his outcomes for the course and gives a lot of material. He makes jokes in class that are only funny to him and talks a lot about himself and topics not relevant to the course. His exams are lengthy and cover a lot of material but he will remove questions if a lot of the class misses it. All projects are with a partner or group!

Dr. Imber is one of the worst professors I've ever had. He lectures on about himself instead of the material needed for the test. He is unclear about projects. Unless you are good at teaching you self, I would avoid taking him.

The exams are 100 question, each question has more than one possible answer. You basically have to play the guessing game. He doesn't like anyone's opinion but his own. His projects are very hard to complete and he's very strict on what he expects. There is no homework, and only 2 exams and 2 projects, giving him not a lot to grade on.

Does not give feedback on graded assignments, does not go along with the textbook, rather he goes off on his personal experience, DOES NOT GO OVER PROJECTS CLEARLY and expects you to complete it with a 2 week notice!! He does not give out any notes, he lectures the whole time, he's never on time for class, he thinks he's funny but jokes are lame

He is extremely boring. All he talks about is his experience and nothing else. Find it extremely hard to concentrate in his class. I don't recommend him to anyone.

He is probably the worst teacher I have had in college. He is never clear with what he wants and doesn't give any extra credit, even when the student takes the initiative to ask and want to do their best. I do not recommend taking his course.

There was very little structure to this class. No notes on the board during lectures and he does not give homework assignments. Also the study guides do not match up to the book so students are expected to remember lectures that involve very detailed stories. There are only 2 exams and 2 projects. No extra credit offered...

Very Boring and makes dumb jokes but all in all he is a good professor. I wouldn't mind taking him again if I had too. The only problem is that your grade is based on 2 projects and 2 exams only, so if you screw up on one then your pretty much screwed.

Imber is a great teacher. Once you get used to his jokes you get used to the class. He has a lot of background knowledge in this subject so he gets off track a lot with personal experience stories. The projects are a lot of work (which is with any sped class)work your hardest with him and always ask questions and you will do great!

I can't believe such a low rating for Dr. Imber. I thought he was awesome!! I learned so much in his class and he was very well prepared and you knew exactly what to expect from him and what he expected from you.

This professor is highly entertaining. You need a sense of humor for this class. There are some difficult projects but they can be done.
