super easy if you take notes and pay attention, you dont really need your book. quizzes are on random days and there is one big project, where you have to speak. if you know PA you will be fine, if you are new to the major then go to class everything is in the notes. good grade booster, but you have to take notes i cant stress that enough.

This class is horrible, do not take it, the material is very dry and is a waste of time since its not actually done in the PA World. Baer is very mean and strict, she never lets anyone retakes any test/quiz for any reason and marks people's grade down for being absent/late on random checks since no one ever comes to class. what a waste of time!YUK!

this class is SO boring, you dont learn actual PA practice, just by the book stuff, this class seems easy but an A is NOT attainable. for some this material is has little interest (all basic) and is common PA knowledge, which doesnt go in depth. Dr. Baer teaches like a by-the-book yuppie. she never say her quiz dates, which is mildy easy.

Fairly easy and interesting, though a lot of clowns still don't get an A. But since she's a PS (theory), not PA focus, you will learn virtually nothing about actual city management. This is one reason she shouldn't teach PA. But if you dig easyness, liberalism & Poly Sci and don't give a **** how it applies to on the job PA, then this is your bag.

This was a fun and interesting class. The professor is very knowledgeable in urban management. The quizzes and tests were easy, just listen in class and study your notes. Gives extra opportunities to help you and even if you really do not need it do the extra credit anyway.

Most boaring teacher in SDSU. During the semester she would give you attitude if you asked for help. Has a monotone voice that just puts the fire out in your interest to learn. Asked a question via e-mail and said that she was at home working, and was interupting her. That is SDSU faculty at work!

pretty straight forward. go to class take notes and the material is interesting. she is funny at times even though she's not trying to be. mid term and final that come straight from the lectures and a 10 question quiz every week thats t/f and not to hard i recommend her got an A- in her class.

Nice teacher who gives 2 tests and a small 10 question quiz every week. I didn't do good on the quizzes but I still managed a B. If you study ur notes and the study guide, no reason why you can't get an A or B. Great teacher!

Straightforward easy class. Don't need the book, everything you need is on her powerpoint presentation. Just write everything down. Tells you ahead of time about pop quizes(True/False). 85 question midterm and final. Overall pretty easy if you study.

Became ill, but this is what I got. Very clear, and puts everything on the board that you need to know (helpful). Pop quizes, so read before class. 310 has great topics, so interest helps time pass. Two exams (substitute made the questions though). One paper which has five questions, so it is easy to read her course reader and find all info.

Unhelpful, unknowledgeable and unprofessional! Avoids office hours, fails to return calls or fulfill any advising responsibilities. Has little clue what the PMF or internship process requires today, despite having been a PMF candidate herself. Expect her existence as an advisor to be nothing less than an additional obstacle. shes surprisingly funny without trying to be, just go to class and take good notes and the quizzes and tests will be reeeally easy. easy a with minimal effort. i highly recommend her, the class is really interesting. dont need to buy the books cause she tells you what you need to know out of them

Comment:

DR. Baer is a great teacher who is really caring and who can give lots of relative information. DR. Baer keeps the class interesting and fun and does not waist a lot of time on useless information.
