Took online class. She is simply terrible. Unclear. No positive feedback. Very prideful. I had concerns and she would simply not hear me out, so defensive she wouldn't even listen to the legitimate points I made, and I made them respectfully. She could probably be great but she doesn't put the time. Funny really, being that's her job!

She hands out a syllabus in the beginning of the semester but doesn't abide by it. She hands out discussions and chooses not to incorporate it into you grade. What kind of teacher does that? To think she is the Department Chair of English. Laughable. She talks down to students and makes the education process useless. You learn nothing from her.

I took her online course and received a "B". I tried to challenge my grade but she is the Department Chair and obviously that will not happen. She thinks she is superior to students. She will comment on your essay saying "boring" when HER assignments are boring. She doesn't leave constructive criticism so you know how to improve your writing.

Please don't bother with this teacher. It was a waste of time. We had 4 essays on our syllabus and only were given 2. Mind you I don't mind less work however what kind of a professor does not follow her own teaching schedule? The class I took was online and even though I know contact would be limited she never replies to emails.

WOW, what a witch. I accidentally signed up for the 8 week class that runs past 10PM instead of the 8 week online class. Asked my counselor, she said to email her. No response. Emailed my prof with her CC'd, no response. Went to speak to her, she was out for the week. Came back and spoke to her assistant. Completely rude and offered me no help. #*!

Nooo! don't take this professor! Her assistants are the ones who check student's assignments! Useless Comments on Essay...Students need help on how to improve an essay. Don't just criticize; teach them how to improve it! The comment that states, "BORING" ,on an essay doesn't help at all!

I didn't take her for English, but I don't understand how she'd even qualify as a English professor. She constantly mispronounces words and apparently her vocabulary leaves a lot to be desired. For example, she criticized a student in class for using words that are "not real", but they were actual words! Enough said.

I took Dr. Robinson like 3-4 yrs ago. She taught me everything that i know about writing. All the people who are talking crap are the ones that are lazy. When I transferred I was very prepared for the university, considering that you are mainly writing at this level. If you are complaining about 8 pg papers then reconsider going to a university.

DON'T TAKE HER!She thinks she is the smartest person but she is lazy, doesn't give you clear instructions, cuts you off, her opinion is the only one, doesn't have any understanding if English is your second language: you HAVE to write perfectly. She is very critical, she only will concentrate on your mistakes making everything else sound useless. She acts like she is very professional and and all that, but I don't think that she is a good teacher. There are plenty of other Eng 101 teachers that are more understanding and considerate.
