It is very rare that I ever write a review nor speak on behalf of someones character on the internet. This man is an amazing person and a truly remarkable human being. He was the best professor I have had during my college years and was extremely kind to me during a difficult time in my life. He inspired me and showed there are still good people.

McCourt is one of the most genuine and intelligent professors at Fordham. He is a really charismatic guy. His lectures are a little boring but he himself is a very interesting and personable professor. Would definitely recommend!

McCourt is the greatest professor I've had at Fordham. I took his popular music class and his heart is 100% in everything he teaches. I've never felt so inspired by one of my professors before. Take his class.

No textbook. Class is lecture style. Although attendance is not mandatory, his midterm and final are straight from the class notes. Really nice guy, extremely reasonable and wants his students to succeed. Grade is composed of midterm, final, two industry papers and presentation. take McCourt if you get the chance.

What a nice man!! Notes were clear (they were from an overhead), 2 papers, class discussions, and some breaks. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend in class at 8:30 in the morning. Good job!

Great teacher. Very Funny. Very Smart but you can still understand him. Lets you out early (takes breaks b/c hes a smoker) Genuinely cares about students. A Final and Midterm-if you study you will do very well-grades fairly
