Taking her class was the worst decision of my life. Shes mean, she talks about politics and her opinions way too much, she gives WAY too much work and no time to do it. No matter what you do, do NOT take her class. It will be the worst decision of your life. She gets off topic way too much and doesnt know what shes doing.

She's a nice enough person, but she's bad at teaching her subject. She gets off topic all the time and talks about stuff that has nothing to do with anything. Although, it's okay because stuff in the textbook seems pretty boring. The class is easy. Show up, make 4 speeches, that's it. Would recommend for those who have to get this class over with.

JSU has a lot of great professors, she isn't one of them. Makes comments that aren't called for, inconsistent in grading, more concerned with herself than students. The class is easy, just be prepared to deal with her as well.

You don't have any tests, just a lot of speeches. She picks favorites. And if you don't come to class, she will spend 20 minutes of class time to lecture about how people don't come to class. Overall, it's an easy class but just kind of slow.

Ms. Rimpsey is a great teacher, but if you register for her class make sure you're ready to work. She has a very rude and sarcastic attitude, and her class is really boring. She always lectures about cell phones and She is a very tough grader and also assigns a lot of work and essays at once. Really big about the attendance policy also.

She thinks that a student should be able to come from a high school to a university and write perfectly. She should reconsider even being a teacher. Very disrespectful. Her sarcasm isn't humors,more hurtful than anything. How she grades is ridiculous. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. Her life isn't worth any students time. She runs her mouth more than teach.

not helpful at all. seems as if she cared more about herself than her students. graded papers like we were freaking ESSAY GENIUS! I didn't enjoy her class at all. On the other hand, she let class out early sometime.

DO NOT TAKE HER ! Unless your a whiz at English (if you are you wouldn't be taking any English class ) avoid her at all cost. she takes off 10 points if you miss a comma, MISS A COMMA!! She's pro-black in everything she does. she demands that you answer questions that she asks. she also has a nasty attitude at times!

There is a couple outside reading assignments, usually pretty good books. Her test are easy if you do the work. Some prompts were good but most were not good ones to write a paper on. Papers are short. She grades hard on grammar on essays. 10 points of for a comma splice and other errors. More minor errors are 5 points. doesnt grade for content

I love mrs. Rimpsey. She's the real mvp . She saved my semester . I always had fun in her class. She's tough on the grading sometimes but if you show that you really want to improve she will help you all the ways she can. She is nice, funny, and kind and I would definitely take her again!!!!

She is a pretty good teacher. At times she comes off very irritated, but she is nice most of the time. Papers are hand written and are graded on grammar, not content. You read two books, but she keeps score of highest book exam. She is helpful if you ask questions. I will take her again if I get the chance.

Ms. Rimpsey was a fantastic teacher. Took her for speech and had four assignments (which are open book), four speeches (narrative, demonstrative, informative, and group presentation), and plenty of bonus work to cushion your grade. I read off of most of my speeches and made an A.
