Pretty good teacher. If you are worried about making a good grade, take her class. She gives so much extra credit on tests that I always made over 100. You will have to study and earn your grade, but if you do the study guides, you will be fine.

I received an A in her class and she was very hard. Study everything.... Straight from power points. She is really strange. She stood next to me while I took lab quizzes and talked to me the whole time. Don't look to her for guidance however on any of your projects, she tricks you on your unknowns.

I took Mrs. Walker's class Spring 09 and she's one of the best teachers ever. She takes time explaining stuff if you're having problems and are she see's you are trying. This class is not for slackers and she is not rude unless you give her a reason. You learn alot but it requires your input. After all that's the point of school right? Take her!!

go to class, when a lot are absent she will give xtra credit. very nice, make sure you get the studyguide for the class. didn't use book much but a lot of test questions come from study guide. really enjoyed lab, listen and it is really step by step.

Very abusive teacher, she bullies her students. She gives PJC instructors a bad name and she talks bad about her students behind their backs. She is not aware of the facts in her lab manual. She comes to class unprepared I would give this teacher an F-

She wants you to know your stuff so she doesnt tell you exactly what to study for & there is a lot of material. Study & you will pass with no problems

I liked Mrs. Walker. She read from powerpoints and inserted interesting stories about diseases. Her tests were hard, but doable. She gave out extra credit and bonus points. She was strict in lab and sometimes blunt, but she quickly got over it. She was very helpful and fun to talk to. I enjoyed her humor. Micro is hard, study and you will do good.

I was very apprehensive about taking this class because of all the horrifying stories. The very first few weeks she WAS in fact VERY rude. However, I think once she saw who were the A students and who were the D students she slacked off on the A student and became pretty nice. Did not use the book ONCE.

Ms. Walker is fair. she relies too much on the text in beginning of course. Once you're past the basics she opens up and is more excited about the subject. If you don't go to class or are habitually tardy you will miss alot. You'll know the subject when you're done with her class, but you'll work for it.

I was apprehensive about this professor due to stories about rudeness, reputation was bad, however, I found that she was ok. Sense of humor is quirky. Do extra credit for theory. Lab class she is strict on how things are spelled and don't slack on quizes.

Extremely boring class. Reads DIRECTLY from powerpoint word for word, which you have the same outline in front of you. So, basically what is she teaching you? You can read it on your own time.Can come off as a little rude and loopy but most science teachers are. I liked her and made a B with little effort.

She is a litte loopy! Agree that she totally just reads the powerpoint. EXTREMELY boring! Especially for hours at a time in a summer course! Also agree that you do usually make a good grade though, but still couldn't recommend! Makes jokes only she understands. There has to be a better choice! Did learn a lot but not because it was interesting!

I thought this class was the easiest class in the world. Her tests are strictly from her power points and her tests were completely fair. She never had a problem with our class about asking questions, she enjoyed it. The lab was straight forward. She was very forgiving with late assignments and even gave E.C. She was quite plesant to our class.
