I am a business management major going for a minor in econ. Took him for this course after taking ECON 201 & 202 - learned alot. Attend class, do the homework, get clarification on the items you don't understand and study the quizes he gives to get decent grade. Study sessions for tests with econ majors does help!

Good teacher, though VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND MATERIAL. Comparable to calc&stats. DON'T NEED BOOK, except for ForecastX software(borrow somebody else's!) and to get homework questions. If you're trying to save $, share book with somebody else or pay someone to for software disc.

Labor Econ is a fairly straight forward subject, and Edwards teaches it well. You do have to come to class if you want to learn and pass. He does not take attendance, but if you don't come to his lectures you will be lost.

Edwards is a great teacher. He expects you to come to class and pay attention. If you do what you are expected to do, you will pass the class. He is very prompt to respond to email questions, and tries to be as helpful as he can.

U know, I was scared to take this class, esp with this "hard" "difficult" prof. He's actually not that bad AT ALL!!! The material is all done on excel. it's hard only if you don't pay attn. half lab, half lecture. he's very helpful, surprise! very intelligent, and not that hard to understand. stay on top of hmwk and you're good!

i took this class in the summer, was really fast, but he does teach well, i ended up with a B, he is actually pretty forgiving when it comes to grading, so turn in work even if it is crap, he will grade easy, so just turn stuff in

Edwards is an awesome professor. He always has a solid lesson plan so you know what to expect each week. He is more than helpful if you have a question and he really wants his students to understand the material. Only buisness majors complain about his classes.

Edwards teaches the toughest classes in UAA's biz program. the good news is you WILL learn the subject from him. bad news is that its thick stuff and he teaches it rapidly. makes it very tough. but you'll learn the material. and most of his repeat students say he's eased up and improved in Spring 06.

His lecture is very dry and hard to follow. He teaches a lot of stuff that isn't even covered in the book, and that is difficult. The midterm and final were takehome this semester so even if you weren't doing well you had a chance to make it better.

If ever there was a teacher who wanted his students to fail, it is Edwards. He goes way to fast, he is no help when you go to his office. His tests are very difficult and you are usually not able to finish them during the alloted time. Unfortunetly, you have no choice but to take him if you are an Econ major.
