The class is definitely hard, he's a little scatter brained for lectures but he really cares and tries hard. He wants the class to ask questions because he genuinely cares on how we do. He chooses amazing SI leaders and I honestly enjoy this class the most. If you study, you'll do great. 100% recommend.

Dr. Curington marries his policymaking experience seamlessly with the course text. Energetic for an older gentleman and very passionate. He can explain concepts a plethora of ways. The student needs to completely understand material to pass exams; meaning attend lectures! Will need to explain concepts clearly and construct good graphs!

This class was very challenging and eat impossible to pass if you forget princess of economics or did poorly in them. When he tries to explain certain concepts to the class he ends up confusing everybody instead. Do not answer his questions with a question, as it really bugs him for some reason. Do not recommend.

The class is an easy B but a hard A. He uses the textbooks powerpoints, but omits quite a bit so going to lectures is important to figure out what you need to know. There are practice tests given to you from your SI and extra credit built-in to the class. Yes, there are easier Micro classes but this one is definitely very fair.

Tests are hard. This semester I was able to get 12.5% of extra credit added to my grade by going to all SI's and doing the extra credit homework and quizzes. Also you have the option to replace your lowest test with your final exam l grade. For sure would recommend this class.

His lectures are by far the worst of any ive had to listen to in college. Test grades are ridiculous. I think he just closes his eyes and writes random numbers on each test. Dont take this class

The only teacher for Microeconomics that has a cumulative final. I learned more going to S.I. than I did ever going to class. Tests are filled with questions that try to trick you rather than test you on the actual material. Do not take him. 0/10 Would take again.

This poor guy cannot teach a class. He is worse than many high school teachers I had that would also coach sport teams. He doesn't explain concepts to make them easier, in fact they are more confusing. Lots of studying on your own time for a class that should be an easy grade. If you strive for all A's like I do stay away

This class is extremely hard if you do not understand micro economics very well. The tests are extremely tough. I do not recommend this to anyone. Definitely would not take again.

Not very good at teaching such large classes. Not good at explaining harder concepts. If you did not do well in economics in high school, don't pick him as a teacher. Also don't pick him for your teacher if you didn't take economics in high school. Not good at explaining the basics.

Curington rocks. Class is an easy B, but a very difficult A. He's really clear about his expectations and hands out test questions two days before. Learned a lot in this class and would definitely recommend it.

I took this class as an elective for my minor as I wanted to learn more about issues like labor unions and minimum wages. The class is pretty interesting, and if you are at least a little interested in issues such as these you should enjoy it. That being said, the class is fairly intensive, and Curington is a somewhat tough grader.
