I am taking Professor Eliasoph again, she is so good! A very funny and sweet woman who cares about all her students. I love her teaching methods and keeps the whole class constantly involved making it fun. Only quizzes which are very straightforward and is willing to give extra credit.

Comment:

Professor Eliasoph is the sweetest. She cares about her students and make sure the whole class is engaged. She sees conversation as the best learning opportunity, so often she will just start talking to us and asks us how our day is. This helps with material and makes for a fun class! There are quizzes each week that are straight forward.

Great professor. Lots of participation, but doesn't care if you're stumped and get it wrong. Online hw graded on completeness. Quiz every Thursday, very easy. Helps a lot on speaking sections, gives good feedback. Would take again.

I love Professor Eliasoph!! She really loves her students to do well. Her philosophy is that you learn a language by speaking it so we spend a good portion of the class having conversations in Italian. Had her last semester and am taking her again this one. 10/10 would definitely recommend taking her class!!

Best teacher ever. Learned more in one semester than I did in 4 years of high school. Quiz every Thursday but they are wicked easy never got below a 90. Makes everyone participate but doesn't care if you get the answer wrong she would rather you get it wrong and learn from it. Makes class enjoyable. Honestly take her!!!

Best professor you could ask for. Real italian lady. Knows what she is talking about. Always willing to answer any questions you have. If you go to on campus events she bumps you up almost a half letter grade for EVERY EVENT YOU GO TO. Quizzes are so easy. She MAKES you participate though. I hated language classes though and I heard there were easier professors so if you can take them with easier ones then you should.

Such a pleasure to learn from an Italian lady who keeps class stimulated; tests can be difficult but she pulls you through. Requires effort; will listen to problems helps us overcome grammar,verb bumps. Simpatica is only word-kind and ez on eyes + to be with;real deal Italian not for fakers. Consider yourself lucky.

One of the best teachers Ive ever had... really just wants everybody to do the best they can and if you're trying enough she wouldn't ever fail you. Keep on top of the work though and don't take the class if you just want to space out it's very interactive. Sweet sweet lady highly recommended.

She's a wonderful teacher, and everyone loves her. She will keep you on your feet, but you will learn SO much in this class. She is a lot of fun, and her sense of humor is great. Her wardrobe is very classy, and she is by far, one of, if not, the BEST Italian professor in the entire department. Don't hesitiate taking her-she will become a favorite!

Signora E has to be most dedicated, impressive classroom leader at Fairfield. My first year Italian professor did not clarify essentials, grammar, inflection, and she has me now thinking Italiano.Great energy, pushes hard but satisfyig results. Watch her dynamism - no sleeping in this class. One of Fairfield's treasures-what a tortellini of class!

Best teacher I've had! While she expects alot from her students, she also gives alot. If you need any help, she is always available. There are also extra credit opportunities if you write a page on movies you have see or any lectures on campus you go to. Take her classes, you will learn alot and enjoy it.

What an awesome professor!!! She really understands how to teach and it shows. Everytime I stepped into her class I felt like I was on the top of the Duomo in Florence. If "THE" Lorenzo DeMedici could meet her, he would be VERY impressed. Plus, she's without a doubt the best dressed professor at Fairfield. Anyone know if she used to model?
