She stated the semester by telling us not to go to the dean because we will not win. Then she told us to ask questions if we didn't understand something. Everytime I asked a question her respone was Your a masters student you should know this course. Finance is not my major. All of the homework is group homework. Never gives full credit grades.

I don't know why Avis has such a low score. She made Managerial Finance incredibly easy. Although I knew all the material from undergrad so maybe that's why. But she explains things really well and she's super nice and helpful. I'd definitely take her.

Good sense of humor, moves through material quickly through class but she tells you what problems will be on 90% of the 2 exams, with some modifications. Project is 6 phases, so it's a lot of work. Very accessible to meet with students before tests. Strict attendance policy--failure to show leads to loss of participation points, no make up exams

it was bad.. it was a crazy class, to me she seemed like she wanted me to fail. In the long run (if u hate accounting and lookin for a C) show up for classes, show the work on tests make sure ur trying, do all the hw.. and ur set

Financial management class - tough subject with a tough teacher. She is no holds barred but does help if you sincerly are trying and ask her. If your a freeloader than she will not do the work for you.
