If I wanted to take a law school class, I would have gone to law school. He's rude to everyone who isn't exactly him, and most of us don't fit that misogynist mold so well. Wish I could have avoided him but there are no other options. We all must demand an alternative from the dept to help improve the value of everyone's degree going forward.

Made it out with a C+. Having graduated from law school near the top of my class, I now understand why I struggled. The final exam was a law school exam, not hard but very different from undergrad exams. Also, it was basically just a torts class (largely irrelevant for BADM undergrads). Guy couldn't cut it in practice, so now he teaches. Lame.

I thought the man was hilarious. If you are not awkward and shy you will be fine. He is defiantly not afraid to call on you so make sure you do the work. Put in a little bit of effort and you can learn a lot of information that is vital for the business world.

Very difficult class to excel in. He is very intelligent and expects so much of his students. Most people this is the first time you have any law study but he doesn't cut any slack. Seems almost all of his grading is based on participation and biased opinion. Sit in the front and ask questions or you have no chance to make an A.

I failed his class the 1st time. Here's the secret. Write down every word he says in class and ignore the book deffinitions. Read the case studies because he'll call you out in class. See him after class for help with an assignment before turning it in. His insults and pessimistic view of the world is so skewed, you'll die laughing. Take it lightly

Definitely an odd bird, but highly intelligent. His lectures are hilarious and extremely biased. To do well in his class you MUST do the readings and case studies or else he will tear you a new one in class. Go to him outside of class...he WILL remember you come grading time. A lot of work, but well worth it. You WILL learn something from him.

I recomend taking this class over the Summer because there are no exams, just weekly papers, and you watch movies every week. Strauch teaches you how to apply the law to real world situations. However, be prepared to be insulted, especially if you do not know your material. Strauch has tenure and says what he wants.
