Foster begins by asking the class "What's going on in the world today?", which waste 5-10 minutes of class. She arrives late at times, so imagine her being late by 10 minutes then talking for 10 minutes before she begins teaching. 25 of class time wasted. Doesn't focus much on any specific chapter; it's like she's rushing through it. Don't take.

VERY difficult midterm and final exams. One research paper and presentation. Professor is a nice person but....lets just say its a required class so just slog through it.

Dr. Foster has high expectations, and the workload is substantial, but what do you expect when you're in grad school? She's very smart, has a lot of real accounting experience, and you will learn a lot in her class. She IS a little scatterbrained, but that is part of her charm!

Wow...talk about a HARD class. I think she really tries to weed the slackers out of the MBA program early on. I took her for Summer I, and it was paper, after paper after home work assignment. Tests are VERY hard. Only reason I got an A was bc I had to read the material until it got engrained in my head. Not a very good teacher, tho she's nice

Taking this professor was a terrible mistake. She does not explain the subject matter of the course, and does not grade and return tests. She also will not clearly define what she expects from her assignments. Dr. Foster reflects poorly on the otherwise solid Citadel Business Dept.

Intermediate Financial Accounting will give you a brain hemmorage. Foster is almost impossible, but in the end it all works out for the best. You should expect some ridiculously low test grades and perplexing questions. In the end, everyone should pass.
