The class most of calc 3 using differential forms, which are hard to wrap your head around at first. However, using the forms makes it easier to answer questions that usually include lengthy calculations. Adrian himself is a great professor with a multitude of ideas and research to offer. I would take him if you could. Trust me you wont regret it!

One of the best professors at PSU. He is the first professor I had who emphasizes the value of learning. 3 quizzes, no final or midterms, lowest grade he gives is a B.

Best decision ever. Adrian cares more about his students minds being exposed to new knowledge than grades. If you study the textbook and find good youtube videos to go with what he teaches, you'll be absolutely fine. No final, no exams, only small quizzes. He sings when he's up for it, no assigned homework everyone gets an A or A-.

Adrian is awesome. He sings opera to you and brings in homemade cookies from his wife. He once got the whole class to watch him roller blade up and down the hallways. It's an easy A and class if very interesting, but he is WAY too smart to be teaching the course. You won't learn what you're supposed to in the course, but he teaches about life.

Adrian was such an amazing and wonderful teacher to have. Coming into college, I was very worried Math 141H (Calc 2) would be a struggle for me, but taking the honors class with him was so much fun. You may not learn the material all that well, but you definitely will learn other interesting concepts & ideas. Remember to PARTICIPATE!!! ITSURGRADE

Adrian is a great person. He's funny, can sing a mean opera, roller-skates greatly, and brings us cookies. However, he's not a good teacher. He often goes off topic, talks about his research, and provides convoluted solutions to problems using his own methods not in the book. It's an easy A, but beware if you're taking upper level math courses.

Adrian was an amazing professor. I am so honored to have been in his class and to have experienced his knowledge. As this is an honors class, you will learn more than just the material in the textbook. I feel like I am much more knowledgable coming out of this class.

Adrian once slammed a revolving door. But seriously he is an incredible teacher. He does not have exams and doesn't give lower than an A-. The man developed his own higher dimensional calculus and is brilliant. He will show you things in math that will leave you speechless. He will sing for you and his wife will bake for you This class is a delight

Take this class if you love series. He's going to make you love math to death. Adrian's style of teaching is more modern and visual. Rather than going over long practice questions, he shows you the big picture and insists on using Mathematica for solving classic integrals. Amazing fellow; take this class if you love math and want an edge.

Adrian will make you love math. Take this class if you're repeating calculus in college as you would be able to appreciate the stuff even more. Singing opera in class, to bringing cinnamon flavored Cannoli to class, Adrian's Romanian accent will teach you a lot more math than you think. No mandatory homework, NO FINALS and three easy quizzes. 10/10

Adrian is an amazing guy. He's very bright and loves showing off his recent research often going off topic. He often sang tangos for us before class starts to boost class morale. Although his lectures may not be clear at all (and you may not know whether he is on topic), it's easy to get a decent grade. It's really something to be in his presence.

Adrian is amazing! Best math teacher ever. In addition to singing opera and tango for you, demonstrating his roller skating skills in class, and telling amazing stories about the mathematicians you thought you knew, he will inspire you to love math in a confusing but amazing lecturing style, hilarious, brilliant, awesome. Highly recommend.

Adrian is probably my favorite professor ever. He's a super nice guy and is pretty funny. The majority of what he teaches you will never be tested on. It can be very confusing at times but just roll with it and go along for the ride. If you go to class every day and participate, he will give you a good grade regardless of how you do on quizzes.

Very fun class! Sometimes he does go on tangents about his research, but it's really interesting. He teaches most of the material, but I do have to go back to the book sometimes just to make sure I understand it.

This guy was impossible. He spent more time discussing his own irrelevant (albeit interesting) research. He doesn't have office hours, doesn't use ANGEL, doesn't assign HW. If you're super motivated and can teach yourself 90% of the material, go ahead, but if you're NOT an honors student and you don't need to take this section, DON'T.

Ocneanu is the best. I loved learning the inner workings of Calc II. This is the kind of stuff you won't get from the textbook. He's such a great person (and a world-renowned math genius), and his love for math is both inspiring and humorous. It was a privilege to have the opportunity to learn from him (and he sings and brings in desserts!)

Easy class to get an A. No homework, no tests, only quizzes that he really doesn't grade thoroughly. Class is really disorganized and he never really tells you what you're learning until the day before the quiz in an email.
