This Guy is awesome! i took him for an online econ class but i wish i would've been in a regular class with him. He is a really nice guy and definitely willing to help you out. as long as you read and do the quizs you will be fine. the review sessions are really helpful and completely student run so you can ask as many questions as you want.

oh man **** this guy. grades you on the most obscure**** that is poorly explained in the online book that he wrote and makes you pay him for. i spent 5 hours on a journal that was 5% ofmy grade and got a 50% on it. it was quality work too. also, he regulateshisgrade distributionbyabout75%easy ass questions and25% questionsthatjesuscouldntgetan A

I took the online class and I would recommend printing out the entire online book because everything is reliant on that "book". My only problem was that some of the questions from the homeworks were not covered well in the book, but he is accessible and explains things well. Overall this is a very passable class and I would recommend it.

I took this course online and learned a lot more than I did taking Econ 201 as a regular class. The e-book is very helpful and written in language that is very easy to understand. While this was an online course, Dr. Gallegos was available for questions more often than my professors for regular classes. A Big plus 85% = A

this teacher has a very sharp sense of humor... Had as an accelerated summer course Its a lot of work and a lot of reading and a lot of time needed to fully understand graphs Tests are VERY thorough if you not sure on a topic guaranteed he'll know. Don't get hung up on mathematics, tests seemed to have very little to do with math, more the theories

I had him for online for M&B. He was very tough for an online class. I spent a lot of time on this course compared to my other courses. Expects a lot from the students including a huge group paper, 7 assignments, 3 test, + the final. Work really hard, and make sure to read the lecture notes he posts.

Makes the class harder then it should be. Doesn't explain concepts very well. Test questions are extremely difficult. Often there are mutliple answers given that are both right. Doen't tell what is going to be on the test.

Took it online. Read the quizzes before the tests, all of the questions come off of there. The quiz questions don't really line up with the e-book though so it makes them difficult, he does have a nice grading scale with 85% and up being an A. That's about the only good thing though. If you understand Econ and hate going to class, then take this.

Don't take the online class unless you're a genius at the subject. It'd be nice if I could go get help from him, but after a review session, I was more confused than when I first walked in. The tests are passible if you study the homework done, but the homework is written in such a confusing and overly complicated way. Don't take online Micro.

I took an online class with Gallegos as a professor, so I wasn't really able to assess his teaching ability to a large degree. He seemed helpful when I asked questions, and was willing to correct mistakes he had on his assignments. The class I took, Money and Banking, requires a lot of work and is not for slackers.
