She reads every single thread & replies on blackboard. There is a study guide for the exams but other than that the practice quizzes weren't too helpful. The graphs can be confusing but you can always email her a question. I was a huge slacker in this online course and still got an A.

Comment:

Davidson puts in a lot of effort into the class which makes the whole experience delightful. There aren't many teachers who sacrifice so much of themselves for the benefit of the students, but Prof Davidson does. Read the textbook, read her notes, do the practice quizzes, and you should be fine. Points outside of the tests make up for lower scores.

I took the class online and I got to say it's one of the subjects that I had to put a great deal of time to get a good grade. From her responses to me I can tell that she really does know when a student is really trying hard and when they are not. I like her motivating words, that really gives you a sense of appreciation for trying really hard.

Reposting due to my mistake in rating her-- Communication is ongoing with her. She clarifies what she expects very clearly. Not only that, she definitely cares about her students. She talked me out of droping with her advise. Very motivated by the subject and teaching. She's one of the few teachers who actualy makes a difference.

I took this for a summer online class and despite the shortness I learned alot. The book was helpful and was main resource. The discussion boards were challenging but helped me learn material better. Tests were tough but why would they be easy? I liked this class, the layout was good.

This was my first Online- back to school for the first time in years- class and i absolutely loved her!! She keeps you updated and constantly send reminders about tests. I know this is college and you should be aware of things on your own but hey life happens right? Compared to my Anth. teacher who never seemed to be there Davidson ROCKS! got a B

ONLINE summer class dont know how in class normal semester would be but got a B with minimal effort just studyed for hours before a test. 6 tests, multiple forums, and research paper on countrys economy, 2 extra credit opportunitys, drops lowest test score, book is a must. very helpful found to be a good teacher, definitly reccomend again ONLINEcls

This professor is doing a great job at teaching, she makes it very visual, very clear and only very careless person can fail this class. Besides, she's a great person, you will definatelly anjoy this experience. If you want smth wayvmore intence though, you have to keep looking, but she gives you all you need to know anyway.

Great professor. She is very patient and understanding. You do have to read and put some effert into it as with anything else you want to succeed in. If you need this class, she is the one. She is clear on what you are to expect throughout the semester!

I took both classes in FastTrack. She's a very nice person and very forgiving for late work. She's a good professor and unless you are a moron, you'll pass easily. Put some effort into the class and you'll get an A. Put your personal gripes aside and do the work, she's a good professor.
