Anatomy has a lot of memorizing but she makes it enjoyable. She's very clear on what could be on the exams. The study guides are great and I found them to be very helpful. She isn't sneaky either on exams. Gives extra credit at the end of exams that add up. Put in the hours of studying before and after class and there is no way you can fail.

AWESOME TEACHER, EXPLAINS THE MATERIAL CLEARLY. POWERPOINTS AND LECTURE GUIDES ARE VERY HELPFUL AND VERY WELL ORGANIZED. TOUGH ON SPELLING THE TERMS CORRECTLY. SHES APPROACHABLE AND KNOWS HER MATERIAL VERY GOOD. OPEN LABS HELP ALOT, TAKE PICRURES OF MODELS AND PUT IN THE HOURS OF STUDYING, I RECOMMEND HER.

TAKE HER! The study guide that she has for the class is on point, well detailed and organized. That and the powerpoint are all you need to know for the test. No more no less. Study it WELL and you will not get lost. No more no less. The first 3 tests are hard especially the Nervous System. Go to open labs! Study 18 hours per week after class.

Currently taking her and I have finally found a professor that doesn't overcomplicate this already hard class. She's very cut and dry, lectures on what you need to know, gives study guides (If you study these to a T you will be guaranteed a good grade) and gives open lab time after lecture. Go to open lap, put in the effort and you will get an A

Makes everything so crystal clear, you actually learn a lot of the material. Her teaching style goes beyond and above. Her ability to cover the material is great. For exams she provides study guides that help get prepared,it facilitates learning the whole material. She is willing to answer any questions you have. ATTEND OPEN LAB.

Professor Waayers is a very nice, approachable person. Her lectures drag a bit, but there is a lot of material to cover. Labs are pretty cut & dry, nothing difficult. I would recommend her but her quizzes are a bit tough and administered frequently. they cover both lab and lecture so make sure you study both lab and lecture notes.

Lectures alone are very informative and can take up to 2 hours, but only because the content is heavy. Anatomy itself is a very content heavy subject, but going to open labs helps A LOT. Discussing the exam criteria with other classes, it seemed Waayers provided the most help with study guides and was reasonable about information being tested.

Glad I took her for Human Anatomy! She is a tough speller but only assigned four homework assignments during the entire semester. Nothing was a surprise because she clearly wrote what we needed to know for test. She does get a little annoyed if you ask her questions but is super funny with her stories. Her jokes made the class fun and interested.

Professor Waayers is an awesome Professor with a great attitude!! She really makes it clear for what you need to know on exams as she provides lecture and lab study guides! Learning the Anatomy material takes a lot of extra time outside of class without a doubt. How hungry are you for an "A"? She does an excellent job on her part.

She lectures off power points, which are accessible to the students. The power points are extremely helpful. The study guides are a blessing. For the lecture make sure to read the book to know more in-depth. Don't solely depend on the powerpoints. For lab, know all the parts on all various structures/diagrams etc. GO TO OPEN LAB. study study study

Took anatomy with her, loved it. Waayers is really caring and will give you feedback/assistance of you need it. However, make sure you know EVERYTHING that she mentions in lecture. Don't waste your $ buying the book unless you don't get stuff. GO TO OPEN LAB, this is your time to rake pics and make sure you know where everything is.

Follow the lectures right down to the last "period". Be ready for lots of memorization and find a really good way to study. Open labs become your best friend. Make sure you spell everything correctly because you get deducted the smallest amount of points and when she gives out extra credit, which is very rare, don't hesistate. Loved this class.

Very nice & willing to help you. She's quirky and thinks out loud i think but its very entertaining and relevant. She might tell you a little bit more functions than you need to know for this class but you will thank her for this when you're in physio. Attend as many open labs as you can, take pictures & make flashcards. Not easy but doable.

Waayers is very helpful. She sticks to her study guide, so if you know all that info you will pass with an A. She can get a little off topic but is very clear on what is necessary to know for the tests.

Very organized & clear about what she'll test on for exams. Other than lab & lecture tests, she has 10 quizzes, a few HW assignments, & pts for dissections during lab. Study what she lists & asks for on her study guides (& nothing more than that) and you should do well in her class. Going to open lab sessions will def help, too!
