Ms. Jacklet is a good teacher. Zaney, but many science professors are. Go to class and pay attention because 90% of the questions on any given test are based upon her lectures. If you do moderately well in class the whole year (getting 45/60 and above on all the tests) and do well in lab (110/120), the final should not be of any concern.

She is good teacher, however, her teaching style is very dry, basically notes on the board. It's understood the anatomy for the most part if just momorization. He tests are a little treaky. Get tests from previous year. Use her notes to study. Her favorite ? is Does male have same # of ribs as female - answer true!!!

everyone loves her and im not sure why. can someone tell me? her lectures follow the same format for months. she has a way of presenting new material in a way that makes it feel old and tired. tests and all that were fine its just that i couldnt wait to get out of there.

This will be the interesting half of bio 110. She teaches all about the systems, but not too enthusiastic about it, more monotone. Tests cover exactly what is in the notes, so attend class and take notes. Notes are mostly repeats out of the text, but good for reinforcement of material. All in all ok

I gave her the a 2 on clarity because towards the end of the course I was beginning to realize her tests only determined what kind of test taker you are. She tries to build her exams differently because in her mind it makes you remember things more. It's up for you to decide! ;)

She's a wonderful teacher: very clear and eager to help. Her notes are fairly concise and as long as you put a consious effort into studying you can easily get an A. In addition, she gives plenty of opportunity for extra credit.

She was the best teacher, she was clear and precise. She was clear on what she expected of her students. She made learning biology fun. She uses a lot of diagrams which is helpful
