Key things to take in consideration when taking Professor Finney: you can get an A IF you actually pay attention in class. It is not hard at all. Even a solid B (if you failed all exams) is possible. Shes very understanding and nothing is considered late. She doesnt follow her on syllabus really but she does hand out a lot of quizzes (not pop).

Rachel Finney is an amazing teacher, she reminds me of Skeeter from The Help. She's super encouraging and a dedicated teacher. If you want to pass this class, you will have to study hard and do good work, but Prof Finney is there to help! She makes sure everyone understands what she's teaching.

I have tried numerous times to increase my grade but sadly there isn't much chance for me to do. I have to resort to take Spanish elsewhere next semester possibly. She is very nice. However, her tough grading makes it impossible to do fairly. You mess up on vocabulary quizzes and she knocks of points like no one's business.

By far the best Spanish teacher i've ever had. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone understands. She is very willing to help and work with you. This class was labor intensive, but the work and quizzes really aided in the understanding of the course material. I definitely recommend her for spanish; you will really enjoy her class!

If I can pass her Spanish class anyone can. She makes sure you know what you understand what's going on before she moves on and is never impatient. Big fan of Blackboard, and don't worry about the oral exam, she's a really easy grader!

Awesome teaching technique, fun learning environment, Very enjoyable person. Helpful to students and campus activities. She seems to be at every activity on campus. Very supportive of the arts program on campus. Wish I could have her for all my foreign language training.
