she cares for her students, but the classes are horrible to attend. They are dry and lots of the material in the class is pointless. The lectures go through very little textbook material, so you have to read the textbook constantly. She's the reason why I changed my major. Will never take a class of hers again.

I disagree with the last positive statement. Its possible she appears pleasant to some students, however if you have a concern with her, keep copies of all your graded work and do not skip class. Also having an approved accommodation to record would be helpful in case there are inconsistencies. There will be and keep track of the behavior pattern.

She is one of the most amazing profs ever. The reviews that were left to show her in a bad light are most likely LIES because i have had multiple classes with her and she is the most non confrontational person ever and she is so so understanding and caring. I LOVE her classes and yes the note taking can be a little tough but USE THE TEXTBOOK.

If this professor has a problem with you, you will know and so will your classmates. Stay on her good side. If she does not like you she can be very unethical and unprofessional about it. she does not like to be challenged. Its unfortunate but it appears its an issue with this department.

By far the worst prof Ive had. Lecture notes are complete garbage. If I could rate her a 0 I would. Her lectures drag on for what seems like forever, and by the end of it youve learned nothing. Wouldnt recommend her to my worst enemy.

Dr. Kulak fosters an environment of learning in her classroom and her love of teaching really shines through in all her classes. My capstone class was the best class I took at Concordia all because of her! Her feedback is always so constructive and you can tell she cares about her students.

THE BEST PROF EVER! Dr. Kulak is more than just a prof, she really, sincerely cares for her students. She is effective, reasonable, helpful, friendly. Her teaching style is clear, concise. Dr.Kulak will help you as much as she can. Don't be afraid of Psych 405, as all students say its dreadful - its actually a very easy class just a lot of work

I found Dr. Kulak very effective. She gives excellent feedback after presentations, and talks you through. Hard marker, but if you know what your doing, and practice you will do good. The entire class is about you presenting YOUR work, so study and practice, and she will appreciate it! Throughout my degree, her and her husband were my fav profs!
