Comment:

Alison Wallace is a great professor that obviously cares about what she is teaching. Some of the lectures may be a bit boring but as long as you show up to class, it isn't too difficult. If you are also passionate about biology she is also great to get to know for research opportunities in ecology.

Alison is a great professor! As long as you show up to class, you will have no problem getting an A. You are able to use your weekly notes on tests. She makes learning fun with A LOT of group activities, but they aren't bad at all! I would definitely take her again!

Very intelligent professor but she just isn't good at relaying information to students. What's on the test wasn't in the lectures. Obviously cares about biology but should be a researcher, not a professor.

Comment:

Dr. Wallace is a very good professor. She is passionate about biology. I also had her for the lab, which was also a lot of fun and was a fairly easy class. Be ready to struggle with RStudio. You will learn a lot about the basic importances of being a scientist and researcher.

One of my favorite professors! Always in a good mood and loves science and teaching. She wants the best for you and really cares. I wish I had every class with her. The one and only negative thing is that she is slightly scatter-brained sometimes but it doesn't affect her teaching at the end of the day.

Professor Wallace has a lot of fun experiments and activities for our class to do, we did Bottle Biology, MealWorms, Fast Plants, and many mini classroom activities. You take a field trip to observe birds and do some writing in a lab journal ( Nothing to picky). She is really easy going and fun to have a conversation with.
