Dr. Nishimura is a kind but older gentleman. His lecture style was a little boring but doable. Many people seemed to struggle in the class (there was only one section) but I sat towards the back and everyone seemed to be doing something else on their laptops. Do the readings (they are LONG) and pay attention in class. You will be fine.

His lectures are boring... he just talks really quite that its hard to pay attention. His test are almost 200 questions long and many people have trouble finishing them . GOOD LUCK

while the content was a bit much, Dr. Nish was freakin awesome. His enthusiasm was displayed in his response to any question or comment, "oh, oh, oh . . . " He was always presenting awesome experiments, even if they had nothing to do with the lecture. while the lectures were long, as a prof, I dig Dr. Nish.

this guy is the greatest. he reminds me so much of my best friend's grandfather, i always just want to give him a hug. the class is easy, but not boring. he really loves what he teaches. i don't really care for science, but this is a good class.
