Dr. Dunn is so intelligent that she's able to make light of huge concepts like postmodernism and systemic oppression. She makes me laugh harder than most the people I know. Dr. Dunn looks like a regular teacher until she opens her mouth-- then you realize she's a regular teacher with an attitude. Highly recommend. Don't try to slack off.

Dr. Dunn is an amazing professor and great person to know. I highly suggest you take a class with her, although she does assign a lot of reading and does enjoy pop quizzes, she is super funny and makes the lectures enjoyable.

She was brand new when I had her, so she was still finding her style. She has a wealth of knowledge and very willing to share it. Some of her exercises seem irrelevant, but only in retrospect will you see their merrit. I think she thinks on the mass level but acts on the interpersonal level. She is a great resource for guidance in all things communication.

She taught me so much about communication that I never even thought of before. Yes, sometimes she's a little feminist, but often she's right. Guys need to be a little more openminded in her class.
