Professor Levy is such a sweet man and truly cares about his students and the material he teaches. He made the class interesting and provides everything you need to know for the tests. The final paper is a group paper and very easy.

Professor Levy was by far my favorite professor this semester. Not only does he captivate your attention, he offers help and supports you through struggles. I know some people did not like his class because he doesn't allow laptopsphones to be used, but I liked it. It was old fashioned and I actually learned things. Loved his class. Take him!!

Like everyone else on here, I think he is an awesome teacher! With the midterm and final he tells you EXACTLY what is going to be on the tests so if you just study, the tests are easy. Term paper is also easy. He always let us leave early and his lectures are straightforward and to the point; tells you what you need to know. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Do whatever you can do take a class with Levy. He is so passionate about what he's teaching, it really helps you learn. He's incredibly helpful and clear with assignments/tests/everything. I've never enjoyed a class so much! And learned so much! He's a genuinely kind man who wants you to succeed. I can't say enough good things! LOVE LEVY!

Prof. Levy is a boss. He is clear with his lectures and always tries to stay entertaining. The midterm and final are 10 fill in the blank questions and the final paper is on a movie you watch at home. Mass Comm. was one of the best and most eye opening classes I have taken at Chapman.

His class consists of a midterm, final, & paper (no matter what class you take from him). He's a bit of a stickler on attendance but gives you a bit of leeway. The final is ALWAYS harder than the midterm & his grading is kind of mysterious. If you turn the paper in late he'll drop it a full grade & holds it against you when grading the final.

Have had this guy for several classes. This is the most advanced class that he teaches. Makes the cultural history of radio very interesting, in spite of a difficult book. Smart, a good teacher and cute! PILF!

The best. I'm a comm minor, have already taken 2 classes with him and plan on a 3rd if not more. He's super animated and enthusiastic about communications, makes you actually WANT to take notes (so rare!). Term paper is longish but on something you actually end up liking writing about. Tells you want will be on midterm and final and both are easy.

i have taken numerous classes with him, fantastic teacher. his tests are verbatim from the lectures, and the notes are written on the board before class starts. he keeps himself updated on current pop culture and loves when students teach him new things. chapman would not be complete without levy!

levy is a fantastic, animated little man. i consider this my foundation course in comm: it definitely gave me a well-rounded and sturdy picture of communications as a practice and influence in the world. attendance is not mandatory (which is so tempting) but i found myself attending almost every class even though we just copied notes the whole time
