Comment:

Had no problem understanding her with her accent. We had no quizzes or review of material, just lecture and exams. We would learn about things on the NEXT exam before we had taken the previous one. Very difficult tests. Every person in my class failed 1st exam. Shes a nice person but I would try to avoid her classes unless you want a challenge.

Her accent was difficult to understand at times, but she always asked "Are you with me?" We had three days to take tests outside of class. She was understanding and extended deadlines for students who participated in class and tried hard. Before her class I hated Biology, now it is my potential major. You HAVE to participate.

Good- She is intelligent, works with you after class if needed, and can funny at times Bad- Accent, speaks fast, often explains things you dont ask about-confusing you more, VERY disorganized, and the tests are usually way off balance from the book. Hated her class like everyone else avoid if possible.

Great teacher! I came into her biology class at Cecil Community two years ago with little interest the subject, but she really changed that for me. Excellent at explaining the material and assigned fun and educational assignments. And her English is perfectly fine.

the worst teacher i have EVER had. first of all, they should really make speaking english a requirement for the job. she is confusing as hell(with or without the accent)& has no realistic view of the world. she gave us ONE day, not during class time, to take a test and if you couldn't make it "school should be the most important thing" DO NOT TAKE

Most students dislike her because she like, makes you work and stuff, dude. BUT, if you're willing to show interest in the material, and put forth an effort to learn, she will be one of the best instructors you'll have at HCC. Doesn't tolerate students looking for an easy ride.
