Comment:

She is a tough grader and confusing person. I don't think she knows what she wants from student. She took off points for my assignment saying that it's too heavily internet depended without mentioning book reading in assignment requirement. Contrarily she makes comments of me being a great writer. She assumes everyone is music major.

Comment:

Very informative class for Music majors but if it's an elective, you will dread it. Usually her lectures range from 2-3 hours and for people who just want to pass the class to more forward in their academic career, she will not make it easy. Excessive papers, presentations, and 10 page reading per week. Amazing character but not recommended as GED.

Comment:

Music of Spain was the class. Dr. Rosado is extremely passionate about music. Her class is tough but that is what you want as a graduate student. Lots to read but at the end of the day YOU LEARN! Yes, the music is a little loud at times but she opens up a new world for you. She's very aware of non-music majors and is extremely fair in grading.

Comment:

One of the most intelligent and passionate people I have ever met. I must say that the class was boring for me because A) it was an evening class and B) My level of interest for the subject in general was not very high. However, that being said, she is a VERY good teacher who is intensely passionate about what she is teaching. I recommend her.

Dr. Rosado was one of the toughest professors I have ever had. Which is how I wanted it! I didn't go to college to get my hand held for me. She got me ready for the real world and I got a scholarship for my Master's Studies at University of Miami. I never complained about my instructors outside of the Music department. That excuse is weak!

What a brilliant woman. Don't listen to these other students on here about Dr Rosado. She knows her stuff and is passionate about teaching. She mad a lot of concessions for students this semester who weren't doing so well on tests. Just pay attention and you will be fine. She should teach all of my classes.

At the begining, you will think she is a hard teacher, but shes not. The subject area will be a little hard, but she will help you along the way. Just get pass the listening to the music part, which she plays loudly, and you will do fine. Her tests are a little hard, but she will curve it. Just do your best, and she will see that and pass you.

She is a very nice professor, very easy to talk to and will help you if need be. Come to class and read the book (easy book, not much reading)= Good Grade. Some things may seem a bit advanced (listening to music and understanding what you hear) however she does a good job of going over it.

Comment:

Dr. Rosado is a nice person who tries to help the students, but unfortunately does not succeed. Her tests cover material that is in the book but that she did not cover in class. For students who are not Music majors, did is not very helpful.
