Great professor! I Loved all the knowledge you acquire in this class. If I could do it all over again, I would not take the summer course, (4 WEEKS). You must read two chapters a week and do your assignments. More than likely you are also taking other classes as well. It is a bit too much when you have a busy life as it.

Coming from a student with a 3.8 GPA, I received a C in this class and found it to be very challenging, not because of the subject itself, but because of how she "taught" this class and her unclear instructions. There was not a traditional textbook, but a workbook that we used *sometimes* and then she gave unclear notes. Would not recommend!!!

I wish I would've looked at rate my professor before I picked this class. The professor talks about herself frequently and is always off topic. She does not explain what she is talking about and gets angry when you ask her to clarify. She skips through the workbook, you're lucky if you could keep up with her to get all of the definitions.

Don't take this professor!!! She is HORRIBLE. The worst I've literally ever had. I was on my phone in the hallway before class and she yelled out a snide remark about me being on my phone. She doesn't lecture, all she does is talk about her former students, and random ramblings about various topics. Oh, btw, she makes you BUY her lecture notes!!

Take good notes, because the class is judged by tests and attendance. Dr. Sala gives multiple small extra credit assignments. She does talk softly or in vague terms, but ask questions. She will clarify herself. No textbook, just a packet of notes, but know your notes because the tests are multiple choice. Make sure to understand the concepts.

Shes a tough grader in a sense that she does not make it clear what she wants done on an assignment. If you want something specific done, write it in the instructions. Shes expecting you to figure out what shes thinking. Were not in your mind. We dont know what youre thinking.

The class was a 4 week course over the summer. It's not difficult as long as you pay attention to her assignment due dates and the quizzes aren't hard. She's also quick to respond via CSN email whenever I had a question.

She makes you feel stupid when you ask a question, as if you are a bother to her. Her "textbook" is a joke. She skips things on the test. She skips around and goes off topic. She is late and then lectures us on being on time. I wish I had never enrolled in her class and seen the reviews beforehand. Her class is purely pass or fail and most fail.

Dont take this class you will regret it! She isn't specific at all when it comes to assignments, also when you have a question on it don't bother asking she will only make a smart remark about it not even answering your question. Also do all the extra credit because the final exam is heavy weighted. If you fail you failed the class

Avoid her if possible! Wish I would have read some of these comments before I enrolled in her class. Do not take her if you need any sort of special arrangement w/an assignment. Even if you are responsible enough to try and schedule it way ahead of time. She is very rude, condescending, and can't even give a straight answer, only smart remarks.

I have taken many classes with Dr LaSala and have enjoyed every one. I specifically looked for her as an instructor developed a solid foundation on which to build my pursuit of my Masters Degree.

Having only completed half of the required material, rating the professor would be an impossible task under these conditions. The material itself is quite clear, concise, and follows a strict pattern. Thus far, the professor is quite a curious case of mystery, whilst maintaining an open mind. In other words, even if one's major is not psychology...

Not completely clear on definitions. The book is almost a waste of money; as it's not really even a book... more like powerpoint printed out and stapled but is vital for class. Tests are tough. Homework isn't clear. If you ask questions during a lecture; she feels you are being rude to her. Wouldn't take her class again.

I only took the online class but it was a weird class. She makes you buy this huge 1 inch stack of papers and you only open it twice for things that could've been written down in any document. The reading was long and the tests were not very based on the readings. There were only 3 tests and one exam but her review saved me.

Unfortunately, things started out poorly before class even started and only got worse. Her "book" is a photocopied packet of comic sans headings with no actual info in it. During class she skips around while only sometimes addressing the headings that will be on tests. She really does not care if students understand much less if they are engaged.

I was so looking forward to delving into this class being Psy is my major, I was disappointed. She is very confusing, doesn't like anyone asking her questions and comes off as unapproachable and anti social, which is odd being she is a Psychologist. Her test where confusing and some of the material she taught was off by the DSM IV standards.

She tends to talk way too much off topic but she's interesting most of the time. She sometimes assigns work but doesn't make clear what it is: however, as long as you ask her to clarify she has no problem explaining the assignment. She is super passionate about what she does and that makes her lectures fun and helpful! Definitely taking her again!
