I had Prof Johnson in 2007 and found her to be incredibly knowledgeable, very approachable and a fantastic professor! The texts were very relevant, the assignments were perfect for the subject matter and in my college career her class was 1 of 3 that were my favorite. She's super sophisticated and classy. I'm shocked by these mixed reviews.

Shes a fairly hard grader but she is very smart. She can be difficult with students but every time it was a student that showed little interest in the class/often skipped the class. If you are interested in the subject she is great.

Oh wow, this class is BORING. Dr. Johnson really kills all interest in the class. She's a horribly boring lecturer. I really wish I could have gotten more out of a capstone. Tests aren't bad, paper is easy, but she's unbearable. Not to mention that she is completely unapproachable, she treats you like her time is more important than you.

What I thought would be an interesting class in being outside the norm turned out to be a huge disappointment. Very strict, not fun to be in class with, didn't like ideas straying too far from what she planned.

History & Systems was one of the most boring classes I have ever taken. 3 hr. block was not a good option. All of teh coursework was busy work. She's very interested in teh subject, so that's good, but a lot of BS is involved.
