She is not bad at teaching, but the workload is ridiculous. Graded on 3 tests that are all very harshly graded essays. Don't take her unless there is no other option.

One of my favorite professors! She is super nice and really understanding. Her tests are essay questions so make sure you take good notes during lectures. She is a tough grader but it makes sense because she gives you the test questions a week in advance and will help with any questions you have. Lots of opportunities to boost your grade up too.

Ann is a very funny professor and connects with students from behind the podium. Makes otherwise boring history lectures very interesting. Very pleased with grading criterion (3 tests, 4 quizzes, 1 3 page paper). If you're taking a history for one credit, take it with her!

Ann Traitor makes classes difficult, but she is an amazing person. She only gives oral notes with visual aids during PowerPoint presentations so being a good note-taker is a MUST. Lots and lots of reading for homework. The tests are easy if you work hard. She not only cares for your grade, but cares for you as an overall student. Amazing professor!

Ann Traitor is one of the most understanding teachers I have had in my life. Before taking this class, I hated history. However, she ALWAYS makes a 2.5 hour lecture entertaining and easy to understand. Despite my struggles with history, I am doing pretty well in this course. She is so easy to talk to and will understand your needs as a student. :)

She's a riot, I enjoyed her enthusiasm and side jokes. Participate a lot and be prepared to read. Her tests aren't hard if you have all the notes written down and read the readings she assigns. The only thing hard for me was the map quizzes because of memorization. Final assignment is a response paper (opinion-based) on a movie we watched in class.

I did not come into this class thinking she would persuade me to potentially pursue a major in History. Her lectures are very straight forward, write down everything she says because the essays you write for her tests will come easy. Tests are 8 definitions (you pick 4) and 2 essays that she tells you the questions of a week in advance.

Classes are lecture based, but she has the most wonderful way of lecturing. She's hilarious and makes the info so interesting. The lectures are necessary for testing so show up! Lots of reading homework but there's a very easy way around it. Just pick a random quote. Would take it again and again and I'm not a history buff. Loved this course!

Honestly western civ 2 with her was such a wonderful experience! She made the class fun and interesting! Its an easy A if you participate. And if you participate you do really well on her essay tests. You really need to try really hard to fail this class and not go to class. Take good notes cause you need them. Would take any class by traitor!

She's great! There's a lot reading for hw but it's not that bad. And you need to read the hw to use as participation credit in class, or just read the first paragraph and pick out a quote that you like. She funny and gives great lectures. Just pay attention to the lectures, take good notes and you're all set for her exams. She gives essay exams.

She is the sweetest person and makes it SO easy for you to get an A. There are three tests including the final and she gives you the questions in advanced, four map quizzes on the same map every time and one opinion paper on a movie shown in class that is only graded on spelling & grammar. She makes the material fun and easy, take her! 10/10

Great professor to take if you need a history class. Her exams are all short answer and are required to be very detailed and supportive, BUT she give you possible exam questions a week in advance so you can study.

She grades very hard on essays and wants very specific answers. She grades of opinion as well sometimes. Seemed confused and canceled class a lot. Is not a bad person but I would not recommend her for a once a week two hour course.

Hands down one of my favorite professors. She's hilarious, helpful and makes history actually interesting for people like me that usually finds it quite boring. The tests are easy, the final isn't cumulative, but make sure you read the reading assignments she gives you and you should do fine!

Ann Traitor is hands down the best history teacher in the world. She's funny and cool & if you're in class and paying attention you'll do fine on the tests. She's really fair, you only have to write one paper, and you only have two tests. If you go to class, and do the reading she assigns you WILL pass. Super fun & crazy. Lithuanian points!!

Tests were near impossible. I remember almost crying each time I got them back because I would study for weeks and still not do well. She does give extra credit, but it doesn't tremendously help. Her lectures were good but I felt the tests were always the things we didn't cover. Ruined my GPA and it was only a gen ed. I still regret taking it.

Traitor is a very hard grader on tests but gives extra credit in class. The class is not easy and material is not interesting in my opinion. You need to read many articles and talk about them in class. Your participation matters.

Traitor definitely makes this class too hard for a general education requirement. I didn't learn much, I would recommend taking a different professor for Making Of The Modern World. She is a very harsh grader.
