Comment:

Easy class and somewhat entertaining. The tests are the only things that can be tricky. The tests are strictly memorization and categorization. This stuff can all begin to sound the same, so it can get difficult. If memorization is your thing, this class is an easy A. If not, an easy B.

Dr. Walter is a wonderful professor! He is absolutely hilarious, and is extremelly engaging. Having his class at 2 was difficult to fight the urge to fall asleep, and his tests are incredibly difficult. You have to memorize hundreds tracks and he picks 10 secs. to play and you have to id it. GPA drainer, but totally worth it.

The greatest professor ever. His lecture are really cool, and he plays guitar in class all the time. His test are incredibly easy, and so are the few short papers you'll have to write (which you get an "A' for just handing in.) Dr. Walter is the master of teaching a GER.

Good professor; lectures were clear and straightforward. Tests were trickt sometimes, but not terribly so. He's an engaging professor and definitely the best out of the 3 that taught this course this year. Two thumbs up!

Dr. Walters was a really great professor. He was clear, funny, and made the material interesting. He tests straight out of the notes, and if you get anything less than an A in the class you've pretty much hit rock bottom. There is also the added bonus that he's a complete badass on classical guitar.

not too shabby....He is a little full of himself, but he is a damn good guitarist. He tried to add a little humor to the lectures to make them more interesting. Tests are straight-forward.

Had him for music 20, liked him then. Took him for guitar, liked him more than ever. Down-to-earth guy, patient, teaches you a lot, very fair grader...he's there to help you learn guitar and not hurt your GPA. Class was always relaxed and enjoyable. He remains one of my favorite professors here.

Get copies of the old tests, and you'll breeze through. Doesn't notice if you skip class, but try not to miss too often. Interesting lectures on a not-too-interesting topic. Funny comments interjected during class.

VERY EASY CLASS...Pretty much no attendance policy. The paper at the end is not as hard as it is made out to be. HE USES THE SAME TEST!!!
