Comment:

This class was great! Professor Chevalier is an awesome teacher and really helps you to grasp the material. You definitely need to do worksheets and pay attention in class to pass, but if you do these things, it's pretty easy. The material that she teaches in class is more difficult than what will be on the exams.

Comment:

Mrs. Anne is amazing. At first it was tough but she gives everything to you for you to pass. Go to class, spend the time to study, and watch the online lectures before class. She gives a quiz every week besides test weeks and they are fairly easy. She really prepares you for the next step! I would highly recommend you take her class!

Comment:

I was very nervous about Chemistry but after taking Mrs. Anne I have the most confidence in Chemistry ever! She is very thorough in her lectures, very accessible through email on/off campus and she gets involved with her students. Best advice is attend class, watch videos before class, participate in class and don't be afraid to ask questions!

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. Assumes you "know" chemistry already therefore doesn't teach. Says she gives partial credit for showing your work and she DOES NOT. NOT helpful at all, tells you to go to her office then rushes you out!!! She is not concerned about the student succeeding at all. Not very friendly and not professional.

Chem 1001 course was vey advanced for 1001 level. She begins without teaching the basics and jumps right into nuclear chemistry. Attendance is required to pass the course. I would not recommend this class.

She posts videos to watch before class so you can get an understanding of the material beforehand and then she just helps clarify whatever is not understood. It was strange at first but I think it's useful. She even posts past test online so you know what to expect as well as review quizzes.

Would not recommend taking this professor unless you have some sort of background in chemistry. She uploads videos of herself talking following the powerpoint and doesn't teach in class. Uses class time for "questions" Horrible experience with Intro Chem...

She was very involved in her classes and wanted her students to succeed. If you need help go by her office and she will work with you. During the lectures she gets her students involved. She says many times during the semester to go to the board and work problems or work in groups. Don't be afraid to do so, it helps you learn. Would take again!

She was an awesome teacher. Very energetic towards Chemistry. She will help you if you need it. Make sure you take all the quizzes on Moodle. Online lectures were amazing! If you need extra help, read the chapters in the book and work the problems! DO NOT BE AFRAID TO GO TO THE BOARD and try problems! It is actually very helpful.

Very clear on what she expects, willing to meet after class and help with study techniques.I had a bordeline c, brought it up to a B by the end of the semester. Not an easy class but you will learn the material. Do not take if your not a serious student.

She is a very nice and helpful teacher. I think she moves pretty fast. Now if you need help, she will definitely help you. She will set up meetings in her office or stay after class to help you. Chem wasn't a strong class for me and I made it out of there with a B. Just had to bust my butt for it.

She is a great professor. Her class is challenging but she really wants to help students succeed. The key to passing her class is listen to the on line lectures before you get to class, do the worksheets,and the problems in the book. She is a very intelligent woman the things she can tell you about chemistry will blow your mind.

She is an excellent teacher. She is not easy, but will work with you as long as you need her to. She really cares if you understand the material or not, and does everything she can do for you to earn the passing grade. The best instructor I have ever had.
