Love love love this professor. Hands down one of the best professors in the HKR building. She is a great teacher and is always there to help you with course material or outside material relating to your degree. She is very caring and knowledgeable in the course content she teaches. Uses the best teaching methods and is a very approachable professor

AM Sullivan is an amazing woman! Interesting, hilarious and very laid back lectures, a big story teller so it makes the info easy to remember! This course in general wasn't heavy and she doesn't grade hard. VERY caring and understanding! I'm changing my major because of this woman, she's awesome! Take this class!!

Great Professor! Working multiple jobs in the faculty to make up for what others do not do, work hard and be kind to her (like you should do for everyone) and she will do anything for you, definitely part of the core in recreation.

This course has the potential to be really good. Material is interesting and useful definitely in a recreation field. However, she rarely answers e-mails and assignment guidelines can be unclear. Most people did not receive ANY mark until last week of classes. Needs to think before she says somethings in lectures, it can be inappropriate at times!

Really good prof! Knows what she's talking about and is extremely helpful. Sometimes she's not entirely clear about what she wants for assignments but if you approach her about it she will give a lot more info. Very approachable! Likes participation and different ideas/opinions in class discussions.

This course convinced me to switch majors. Anne Marie is a great prof, and gives her students challenging work, but its very interesting. I'd recommend this course to anyone is a health science field, planning to work with people.

I have to disagree with the last comment - AnneMarie has never said she doesn't think criminals deserve recreation - she has told us to think about how we feel about recreation in prisons and if we dont' agree with it we shouldn't apply for a job like that. and who cares if she doesn't like a lot of outdoor things - she's awesome!

Nice person, but really should really think before she speaks. Favourite Anne-Marie quotes: "I hate the outdoors", "I don't believe criminals have the right to recreation". In the wrong field maybe? However,she is a nice person overall. She will listen to you when you have something to say and is understanding when extensions are needed for papers
