DO NOT HAVE HER AS A TEACHER. SHE IS HORRIBLE. gave me the same grade as my friend who never came to class and failed all the tests. she is very unfair and plays favorites.

Great professor! She's a very intelligent and intriguing person and makes a major attempt at getting her students to THINK. I can understand why a lot of people have a problem with the class/professor if they are not used to abstract thinking though. Gotta think outside of the box for this one, something a lot of us aren't accustomed to.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE THIS COURSE, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. I have read the book, studied, saw a tutor, and even asked for help and she would reject any oppurtunities for help when asked. She rambles on several different topics in one class session and can not stay on topic. Now I have to retake and I am definitely avoiding having her again.

DO NOT TAKE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. This teacher was all over the place. She showed up late to class every time. She spilled coffee on someones test, had them mixed in with other tests, we were 2-3 wks behind on the syllabus. We had to teach ourselves everything! She would get so off topic! She wouldnt give out any extra credit. She could care less.

I noticed when taking my class that most of those who complained about her didn't even bother to read their books, which is necessary to pass- her lectures are meant to supplement the readings, not replace them. She is helpful, but not to those who don't try. She is very clear, provides plenty of examples, and loves class discussion.

She is extremely unclear regarding assignments, grading, and the material. Make sure you check your exams and the grades she has for you in the grade. Most of my grades were on accurate in her grade book. I spent an hour and half going over grades with her. And her essays are ridiculous. Good luck!
