Comment:

A little bit of theory and a survey of a few major religions. Don't expect lists of facts- in depth analysis of major texts. Classes were above average (very participation based) but papers and office hours were the best I ever had. She cares SO much for students and completely overhauled my writing. GO TO OFFICE HOURS- that's where I learned most.

Comment:

The amount of work is quite reasonable if you are interested in the subject. Professor Aronowicz is the most supportive and nicest professor I have met! I went to her office several times and she was always willing to help. I still keep in touch with her after finishing the class.

She is awesome!! Nice, smart, and dedicated. She doesn't do powerpoint but lectures and has interesting discussions. Makes difficult texts understandable. She is the best!

Comment:

She was my first year seminar professor. She gave us alot of writing but it really helped me writing. She is a slightly tough grader but if you work hard you can definately do well. She loves the books she selected for class and that enthusiasm rubs off on you. Not a teacher to take if you intend to slack off. Very helpful if you make an effort.

Comment:

Prof. Aronowicz is an awesome teaching and a really nice lady. She is interesting and organized and loves class discussions. She is a tough grader for essays but always allows lots of time to complete the work and will help you a great deal if you go to her office hrs. I had her MSS, which was a foundation and her intro to religion.

Professor Aronowicz was my instructor for my first year seminar course. She is EXTREMELY helpful. All you have to do his reach out to her. If you LOVE to read and write THIS IS the course for you! You will have the oppurtunity to grow, pinpoint your strengths as well as your weaknesses.
