Comment:

Grade is all tests, but lecture is fun and he's very knowledgeable. He loves sharing everything he knows with students. No homework, no buying textbooks, but you do need to listen, take notes, and study. I definitely recommend him! I look for every class of his I can take.

This mans enthusiasm about what he teaches is unparalleled. I have never had a teacher be so excited day in and day out to come to class and teach. Dr. B loves what he does, and you cant help but let it rub off on you. He is extremely clear about what he expects from you, and if you put in the effort, you will get an A.

LOVE HIM!! Took Intro to Arch as an elective, and he makes it so interesting. Very clear about what will be on exams, mostly from class notes, very little homework that is super easy. He is big on respect, tho. He doesn't appreciate taking his class as a throw away, so respect the subject and what he's trying to teach, and he'll appreciate you.

Dr. B makes archaeology fun. He uses his textbooks but if you can get them online for cheap, get a previous version. If you are arch major and make it into higher level courses, he gives a quiz throughout the semester to test your skills. Transfer students should see him for a copy. Make sure you make him your adviser if you're an arch major.

Dr. B is an awesome professor. I had no interest in archeology when I first took his class as a filler for my major but I quickly found myself taking another class with him because the way he taught the material. Like most of the people he is very animated with his hands, he brings in examples and shows the class.

Tony is very animated; he speaks slowly & uses lots of hand gestures. He is a great professor who grades and responds to emails quickly & is always willing to explain material further or meet with students individually. He may speak in a manner that feels condescending but I learned that it's just how he speaks, don't take it personally.

Definitely one of the best teachers I have had in college thus far. Lots of helpful handouts. Very organized and nice enough to repeat notes during lectures, so that everyone gets the right info. Great personality, and almost never any homework.

Very cool guy and excellent lecturer. His tests can sometimes be difficult, but if you go to class and show any effort at all, he's going to help you out all he can. He sometimes cusses to be funny, which can get old, but he has a good sense of humor.
